Seems to me that I've read elsewhere in the forums that Mike(?) the maker of Boba's has said in the past that there are only 4 flavors in Boba's. That's why I'm so intrigued with this thread as opposed to some of the others on Boba's because this one started out simple and from all those early accounts seemed to be on the right path.

6 drops of black and mild flavor
2 drops of cotton candy
2 drops of coconut

I'm with you I think we're making it to difficult. I'm not sure of the drop count but I think.

black and mild
cherry
vanilla
cola

What I've derived from this thread is a recipe which has evolved from a post here. I'm not really looking for a Boba's Clone but a nice pleasant vape. Here is the final version after a lot of tweeking:
TFA Brown Sugar 1%
TFA Cinnamon Danish 2%
TFA Banana Nut Bread 4%
TFA Graham Cracker 3%
WL Commercial tobacco 1% Commercial Tobacco Flavor Concentrate (SM)
FW Coconut 1%
TFA Smooth 1.5%
This is a smooth, mild tobacco/bakery juice. Most people would increase the tobacco. It needs a few days of steeping, which I did using an Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner. For me, it is an all day vape. Thanks for all the posts in this thread and to Levitas in particular.

I see the thread has progressed since you posted this recipe but my friend and I ordered all these ingredients (along with a bunch of others) back when the thread was around this stage and last night we made this exact mix. We both applaud you and think it's great and it's hardly had any time to "steep" (so far all I did was run the whole bottle under hot water and shake.)

I've only tasted the real deal a few times but he's bought "Boba's" before. We both really like this recipe but I have no idea if it's completely "nailed it" or not; I just really like this recipe and will make it again.

By the way; we used 50/50 PG/VG and our nicotine was also 50/50 PG/VG (if that matters.)

Also, we also started with the "Banana Nut Bread" in PG/VG first, (which is pretty good by itself), then added "Graham Cracker" (and that mixture was also good, and then added "Cinnamon Danish" and that mix was good but we had already vaporized at least 8 drops so we no longer had as much of the "Banana Nut Bread" in there but I think the ratio above of:

TFA Banana Nut Bread 4%
TFA Graham Cracker 3%
TFA Cinnamon Danish 2%

Would be a good vape flavor mix by itself.

Anyway, hat's off to you sir. This is a really good recipe and I have no idea if it's exactly like the real article or not. I just like it and so does my buddy.

Thanks for your hard work. We will mix this recipe again.

I can't imagine a Boba Clone without Honey as a flavoring. When Boba's is 3 days to a week old, Honey is, to me, the primary, overwhelming taste

I must say though, that playing around with these ingredients has led to 2 of my favorite vapes while I was NOT impressed with Boba's itself.

I'm not a fan of liquids this sweet either, but I still like Boba's. IMHO honey is indeed the dominant flavor (about 50% of the flavor IMHO). The rest is toffee / caramel (30%), a little cocoa (10%) and a little hazelnut (10%).

I haven't vaped Boba's in a week or 2, but I don't taste cherry, cinnamon or coconut in there. Obviously, I could be wrong...

Someone said there are only 4 flavors in Boba's. Assuming that's true, what is the definition of "flavor"? If you consider base flavors such as honey, cocoa, caramel, etc. it may take more than 4 flavors to make an accurate copy of the juice; if "flavor" could also mean a combination of base flavors such as found in the "cola" flavor or in the "Nutella" flavor, it may well only take 4 "flavors".

True enough :) and I don't for a moment believe that the recipe will just be given away that easily, nor should it. Where would all the fun of these experiments go LOL

My thoughts.

Bobas was one of the best vendor juices that i've ever tried. I always got a honey, mollasses kind of feeling from it. (really enjoyed the smell). I could never get through more than 2 ml before it lost it's flavor to me and seemed sort of bland and I would have to get away from it for a while.

I think that the base is a SC (maybe black n mild but not sure) and that the other flavor or flacvors are alchohol based (not pg or vg).

We mixed up another batch of the recipe compiled by glassmanoak (post #203) above this weekend and reduced the coconut a little bit because one of our "Boba's-loving" friends said it had too much. I can't tell much difference but it's still a great tobacco recipe even if it's not exactly "Boba's."

Since we had everything we needed we went ahead and made a mix of just 3 of the ingredients:

4% Banana Nut Bread (TFA)
3% Graham Cracker (TFA)
2% Cinnamon Danish (TFA)

This is really good too and you can taste a bit more of each of these flavors (especially the Banana Nut Bread) in this simple mix than if you go all the way with the "Boba's Clone."

By the way; for those of you trying different things with this recipe are you adding anything like "MTS Vape Wizard", "Vinegar", "Lemon Juice", "Bitter Wizard", "Tart and Sour", etc.?

Thanks,

Norman

Take this for what it is worth...

Although I have never tried Boba's, I am ordering some today. I hear so many good things about it, so gonna order up.
I read through this thread after researching Boba, and some thoughts include:

Some common parts of this thread that stood out to me, and should be reflected in everones search.

4 flavors
Somebody asked him (AVE) to make this early on
So simple

Ok, so of those things, what might someone ask a juice scientist to make?
What are some COMMON things people eat with those flavors?

With those questions in mind, think about food. We probably could come up with some common things. How about a banana, honey sandwich? Let's say we add some nutella to it.

What do we have then? Something nutty from the bread. banana, honey...maybe some cocoa or chocolate? I could see how the graham cracker flavor comes out with the bread, the nut flavor too. Banana nut bread? Maybe. Chocolate? I could see why people say it might be cola.

The thoughts are probably simple, and some of the flavors may be residual from the combining of flavors. I think you folks have some good comparables based on all that people mention. For the malt, barley folks, For some reason I think it is the flavor for replication only, but not the Boba's ingredient. Exact is probably not going to happen. Nailing the exact 4 ingredients will be near impossible. That is why the recipes offered are so great because they pick up on the flavor notes people taste. All I am saying is to think food and consider what someone might ask a juice maker to make...what do people eat?

Thanks for the great thread from this noob. Innocent opinion from someone who hasn't even started DIY'ing...yet:p

It's fairly easy to duplicate bobas once you know the tobacco flavor. If you look at bobas in light you can see tiny bits of tobacco floating around so from that you know its not a concentrate he uses for flavoring. Its also what also gives it a dark color.

i think m type might be a good bet. to me bobas has a flue cured tobacco taste with all of the other mysterious goodness.

i don't see any particulate in my bobas, but i could see how it could be a NET flavor.
