My Buzz Pro is broken!!!

so The positive wire leading to the screw in the bottom of the top cap on my buzz pro broke in half and now I can't use the mod It's one I bought on the classifieds, so probably no warranty on it. it has a number on the side, but I don't know why that would be relevant.

Anyway, my question, is who would I need to talk to about sending it back for repairs, and how much would this set me back?

If you can get somebody to re solder it it will cost NOTHING ! , J/K , If you do not have anybody we can fix it for cheap like $10 + shipping ,.

my soldering skills are very much sub par, but I'll give it a try. when I inevitably screw it up, where do I send it, and how do you want to get paid?

Hah. Try getting a Lavatube fixed.

This kind of service and product support is invaluable.

Boot if you can remotely operate a soldering iron... you can fix the wire. Its basically one tiny drop of solder. A electronics shop would prolly do it for 5 bucks or maybe nothing.

Worst case send it to mike and it will cost you under 20 bucks to have it back to original.

ok, I decided to be brave and tried to solder the wire back on and surprise of all surprises, it worked!

I lengthed mine when I broke it and it's been working fine except I loaned it to someone.

yeah, I'm quite pleased with my buzz, and then tonight I found out that Rob's putting your vv innards into a REO! I just about died and went to heaven.

Now that's a reo I would actually consider buying! After trying vv, I just can't justify spending the kind of coin they charge for reo's just to get a bottom feeder mod. Filling cartos is just not that big a deal to me. Then again, I'm still looking forward to the vvpv more than the thought of a buzz reo.
