Well after 5 days and lots of reading while still testing I do like the convenience of my carts on my 808. Only have one problem now finding the ones i really like. Problem I have now is the pre-filled ones that I am buying i am finding out they are burning and tasting bad way before i use up the juice in them. I have taking them apart and i see where the burning is. I feel like the vendors here are like part of the community and didn't what to drop any brands on here, am i correct in this or am i doing a people disservice? I do try and keep them wet but don't know till i get that burn taste and then its to late. All i can think of is fill lots use them just a little and keep switching more making them not as convent.
All i know from reading up on carts from people having same issues i am seeing that the horizontal coils don't do this like the vertical ones do, is this correct?

Cartomizers can singe the stuffing when they are low. I keep a carto damp with juice and I can get 4-7 days or more use out of one. I never run them to the point of singeing. I occasionally get 2 weeks use out of a carto. BTW those are cartos, not carts. If it holds juice and screws onto the battery it is a cartomizer aka carto, regardless of what the vendor calls them. A cartomizer is a combined disposable cart (cartridge) and atomizer.

I'm assuming you're using cartos instead of carts. Ignore this post if you are indeed using carts...
What brand are you using? It might just be a crappy brand. I've used some crappy ones that burn. In my trials I have found that Vapor4Life's cartos (both that they sell) and Bloog's work very well and don't singe easily. I've also heard good things about Boge cartos but haven't been able to find them in stock so I've never actually trid them. The ones I've tried give off an obvious "empty" flavor before burning at least, so you can stop before actually burning them. But you have to pay attention to the taste. Some people say there is vapor drop-off but I've never noticed a change in vapor only taste.
Another thought is...how long can you use one before it burns? If it's a pretty constant 4 hours (for example), maybe switch them at 3 or 3 1/2 hours to prevent burning.
Another question...how do you know you are burning them before the juice runs out? While this is possible, if you vape CONSTANTLY then you can dry up the filler around the atomizer before the juice is able to move around and it burns the filler. Some people combat this by having 2 PV's set up at the same time and rotate between the 2 (or more) so that one can rest and is not being over-used. Just wondering what indicated to you that they are burning before being completely dried out.
Now, I don't know what causes some of them to burn. I can refill and reuse cartos for months using them on a weekly basis (I have some that I've been using for 8 months), but my husband can burn up any carto the first day he uses it. I still can't figure out what he does to them!!
Good luck! I hope you find what works for you!

The v4L cartos are the ones that are burning up on me, I know because i took a part like 3 of them and i see the burn hole in them but the filer still has juice on it. I will try the maxx fusion next do to it having a horizontal coil and see how they go. For now the only solution is to have like 5 cartos filled and rotate them all day long so they always stay wet. only problem is i have my 24mg emergency juice and that's it till my BWB stuff comes in hopefully tomorrow. But i think that will have to steep for awhile 8(. Oh my vortex 808 will be here tomorrow to so at lest i can see in them 8) and get a feel for how fast im am using the drops. Still new and trying to gauge everything still.
