Ok, Its a little on the mild side. I watched the strings suck up the juice all the way to the element as it went from white to almost clear. What can I do? I got the 2.8ohm ones. Should i try a different ohm rating cart next time to get a stronger vape? If so what ohm should I get? Thanks for any help I can get.

WOW!
Version FIVE and you STILL have to mess with them for them to work right?

When will they ever give up? FAIL.

With the liquid Im using on my first CE2, it might be a little thick. The problem I am trying to fix is whem Im taking 2 or 3 vapes in a row, Im finding the 2nd and 3rd vape to be weak. Opening the wholes where the string goes to the element helps the liquid get there faster in my opinion.

High percentage VG juice can have wicking problem in the CE2's.

The trick is to vape the ecig horizontally or pointing upwards, this will allow the juice to absorb closer to the cup.

2.8ohm is good enough for a 3.7v device. You could try the 3.0ohm CE2's so avoid vaporizing the juice too quickly, but I don't think it makes that much difference.

Wicking can also be improved by cutting angles off the wick gaps on the third ring (the ring that sits on the cup).

If all the work involved in getting the CE2's to work properly becomes tiresome (I was fed up with them after 6 months), then perhaps try the new G4 carto's.

I've been using the G4's for a week and they are quite good. They are also very simple to refill, just remove the mouthpiece, fill from the bottle, then reinsert the mouthpiece. It takes about 5 seconds to refill and there are no rings/seals/wicking to worry about.

The CE2's do have warm vapor which I like, but I was willing to trade that for simplicity.

Nice! Lets hope they work well and are easy to fill.

Looks like they are an intermediate design but I'll give them a try anyway.

A part of the design has been try to copy, but don't worry it's far from what the final design is.

I am following the thread with the G4's. Might be worth a try. Thanks

I must admit, the CE'2 are excellent with certain flavors, I still keep a couple in cycle for two of my flavors, the other 7 are working well with the G4's.

But yeah, it won't hurt to grab a pack and give the G4's a try.
Others are having various problems with them, but I figured they just got a bad batch or something :p

None of my G4's have leaked at all, the outer plastic is very strong and won't crack in a hurry.

However the juice does tend to enter the coil area when you insert the mouthpiece. Inserting the mouthpiece sometimes forces the juice down and through the wick.

But there is a simple fix for that, after filling them, just blow through the threaded end of the carto to remove the excess juice and they are ready to go.

ps. I just tried a G4 with a 5v USB passthrough, the performance is unbelievable!

I gave up on the CE2 rev 4 because no matter what I did, there was a plastic taste. I describe it as that aroma you get when you open up a new air mattress or beach toy. I have 3 packs of Boge that should be delivered today. Hoping for better taste.

I'm currently impressed with the Ego tanks in type A and B. These are great tasting vapor producers that only take a minute to fill and last a long time. I've been vaping tanks for several months since right after they came out. Other than an occasional wet spot if it is left in the sun or a pocket, they are fine. You have to refill them before they get really low or you sometimes get a flooded atty.
