3.7ml CE2 Giantomizer(v2) for 510/eGo/eGo T (Only 1pc) [CE2] - $4.50 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--

Just received these and didn't realize when I ordered that they didn't have threads at the top. I wanted to make a longer cheap line. Have to try to install a thread insert from the cap models in the longer sleeve.

Bummer BJ... I was checking the thread collar against my old ones and you should be able to fit it - might need a drop of glue on some older models if I remember correctly (or maybe that was an ego B tube?).

I used the syringe again, but this time I found spacers that both the 510 connection fit into and it fit perfect into the "tank". Leak checked it. I was then able to use the "bottle neck" of the syringe piece toward the top and use the silicon cap of a CE2 as the top plug. Easily comes apart for service also. Hold ~3ml. I have to use a thin wick, but it allows me to play with the wraps more. 5 wraps is ~1.7Ω with 32g and works great. 6 wraps is better on a non-VV mod. This one is vaping great!!! Some pics...:vapor:

Seems cool, but I doubt anyone can actually duplicate from your description,

Pics of the various actual pieces you used and how they fit together.... What are these 'spacers', where did you get them, WTH is 'the "bottle neck" of the syringe piece' and how far up is 'toward the top'?

:)

@ BJ43

All is not lost those rubber mouthpieces work well with the pen caps. Just shorten the top tube to size and slip it over. Covers an ugly cut real nice. Nice mouth feel too.

They can if they have some imagination.

They are 1/2" OD delrin spacers found locally for archery equipment. Have no idea of the internal diameter, however a 510 connection fits it. You can also find nylon ones at most hardware stores. Amazon.com: 100 Nylon Spacer Bushings .257 I.D. 1/2 O.D. Length 5/8: Automotive

LeCig Electronic Cigarette Store - 3ml Monoject Syringe Here is the syringe. See the syringe container. It has a bottle neck that either a 510 connection will press into, or the silicon mouth piece seals of a CE2 cartomizer will fit into. That bottle neck happens to fit inside the top piece threading, which is "towards the top" of the tank.

Silver wire are the electrodes. Purchased at a local jewelry making shop.
Nylon tube covers the + electrode, also from the jewelry shop.
510 connection from the CE2.
Lead free silver solder for the +/- electrodes, + soldered to the 510 center pin, and - to the outer 510 connection.

Whistle tip is from a 701 cart and is screwed into the top.

And the shell is the last of the ones I got from my original purchase from GV. GotVapes 2-Piece eGo Cone w/ Screw-on Cap - PEN-CLIP STYLE BLACK [gv-egoVERTICALCONE-penclipBLACK] - $7.50 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

To those that aren't cutting the tube - how are you getting the bottom part to release from the sleave? I've got it all apart except that piece. I've tried heat, wiggling, collar and hammer. I've only been able to get it 1 or 2 mm out... thinking if it's this big of a pita, will I be able to get it back in....

The ones I bought the cartridge slips in and out of the sleeve, in fact you can buy additional cartridges and I don't have to cut any metal. No threads on the 510 just on the outer ego threads. I use an ego to 510 adapter and it is a much easier mod.

Yes that looks very promising BJ43. The amazing putty dries into a silicon also, but the sugru seems to be more durable and is not 2 piece. Amazing putty rise within an hour. Sugru needs 24hrs to cure. IT says not food safe for sugru, but they are working on it... I saw a video of Bazilray using it to bumper his Darwin...
