Thanks! So the tube bulges slightly to accomodate them? I'm using 15mm OD/ 13 mm ID aluminum and plexi tubes, the plexi aren't exactly round, the alu are and I want to be able to press fit a connector and have it be tight all on it's own.

I don't have a caliper here, but on my tape measure they look pretty close to 13mm inside and the tube 14.2mm outside. There is a slight ridge the tube sets on the bottom.

The Vision 3.5ml ready to be modded into a "Long Cheap Line". Using the full length of the tank should give 4ml.

FWIW GoodProphets has some jumbo 'no tube cut' ones.

Thanks WillyB, I normally use those from the beginning as you know from my first cheap line that did not have to be cut off. but on one of my orders I got five that the cartridge is permanently attached to the sleeve like the original in the first thread by bohoo. Dan was able to press the bottom out with his lathe, but I only have hand tools. Pressing the bottom out, the sleeve works great over a 2ml Vision 510. If I cut it it is too short.

The CE2 XL Humongomizer 3.3ml are great but kind of pricey st $13.99, haven't found anyone else who has them.

Cheap Line and new V2 Line.

IMO the V2 Line is the best rebuildable atty on the market. If you can only afford one buy this one. It simply does the job. If you can't afford one, build the Cheap line, it is the next best atty. If the V2 is a 9, the cheap line is a 7, and every thing else out there is less than a 5. The new V2 is awesome, the new harder wire makes installing the coil very easy. Materials and construction are excellent. The best vaping I have had in over 3 years, as good or better than dripping without the hassle.

Got a V2 line coming BJ43. Wish i had ordered 2 now. Still having shorting issues with my cheap line. The issue seems to be with the pins i used for the terminals. Got the screws you suggested so will try modding with them. When did you get your V2?
Got it a few days ago and have used it exclusively since then, all I can say is wow. This morning after about 10 refills on the same wick and coil I put it under the faucet and cleaned the wick and coil with a tooth brush, dried it with tissue, filled it again and it is still going strong. I like this hard wire so much I ordered 3 ft of 18 gauge silver wire to do a few more cheapos with wire. My 7 wrap first coil has gone from 2.8 ohms to 3.2 ohms so I am vaping it at 6v and it is a monster. The best thng on the line is the thick diameter you can use on the wick. I am rolling a 45mm x 40mm #400ss around a paper clip gives me a 2mm diameter wick with a good center hole. Never a dry hit.

:) Still waiting on mine arriving. Can't wait. Did you order the wire from the link posted earlier? Might give this a go.

Has anyone figured out a way to press out the threaded end caps from the ss sleeves with normal hand tools? Want to press out the bottom and not cut.

I never did have any luck with it. I used a collar and hammer and beat the heck out of it. Only got it about 1mm out, before I gave in and cut. What I was thinking of doing was to pop the top thread out, pull the plastic tube and use a torch and soldering paste to extend the positive higher, then use the body as the neg up toward the threads.

I use a tool I made to tap it out. I took a long reach 1/8" punch and ground it flat. Setting the tube on it's head, I tap around the 510 connector until it breaks loose and continue by pushing it out the top. It's slow and tedious mainly because it's hard to hold the tube without crushing it. The tubes I've used this on are tight.

These are the easiest to convert because you don't have to cut the bottom off, the cartridge slides off. Use a geo to 510 adapter to connect to a 510. You can buy them here or from China for $7 to $9 depending on if you want the cap and the cartridges for $5. The 13mm Vision also fits in these sleeves and come with 510 connection.
