I had the same feeling about mods when I started. But now I can never go back. If you ever decide to go the mod route you may want to look at the GLV2. You won't break that one, trust me. Well worth the money $$

When the OP mentioned he was AFRAID of BREAKING his GEAR, or similar, I think he meant: as in experimenting with modding his e-cigs and not 'afraid of an expensive mod being fragile'...
I guess the OP did not understand the term "mod" in the sense of Big Batt Guy or similar but as in "modifying your mini" kind of thing...

Hopefully he could clarify this...
