*EDIT* For some reason i read the title/op as being a CANA, when its actually never mentioned that its a clone. I'll leave the post just in case it turns out to be a clone, but if it was a legit DNA30 i would also try to contact Evolv/replace it with a real DNA30 not the FT clone below.

Bummer.

I would start by removing the battery cover and inspecting to make sure the battery is properly seated and see if you notice any issues with connections/battery cradle etc.

If its relatively new (and before you remove stickers/open up the chip area), i would contact your vendor and explain what happened and see if they're will to work with you at all (never hurts to ask). If they can't/won't help then open up the chip area and inspect all the solders/chip for any visible damage (may require removal of adhesive/hot glue).

If ALL else fails keep the enclosure/buttons and either replace the chip with the same clone chip $24.78 HANA MODZ Pack DNA 30 Style Mod VW Modules - 7-30W at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping for ~$25 shipped or (best bet imo) buy a real dna 30 chip from someone like HyperionVape etc for ~$50 and install it in the enclosure.

Or i guess you could buy a whole new CANA...

Best of luck!

Without opening to see, could be ANYTHING. If it's completely not responding, might be something as simple as battery connector failed. Is it Lipo batteries? 18650 batteries? Self built? Name brand?

If it's a clone, it's probably going to be easiest to simply replace. If it's a name brand box, the vendor will probably work with you. If it's a self built, pop it open and check your work. :D

I'll say this, I've not read any review of the chdna30 clones being positive. Most seem to have issues of some kind or another....before anyone attacks me, I have no issue with clones in general, just poor quality, which most of the reviews seen to indicate....:( either way, it sounds like a bummer dude and I feel for ya.... I'm sure with a little more detail we can determine the problem.

The battery probably pressed down the tab that holds it in. Does your hana rattle now? I had an odd event happen where mine fell of the coffee table and literally landed directly with all of the weight perfectly centered on the drip tip. It caused the battery to push against and bend the battery tab up and it would no longer make connection. Easily fixed with a battery removal and straightening of the tabs.
