You have to look in my pictures to see JD. He's a cutie.

It's Uno!!! OK, maybe not Uno but just as cute!

I love this thread... it's impossible not to smile.

Here's my best friend, Olyver

Nice!

I don't know if it's only because I've had big dogs or what, but both my daughters are drawn to small dogs! I just am clumsy enough to step on a small dog though! Also, I love the fact I can pet my dogs without bending over!

Here is a pic of my min pins laying on my sons lap. The one right across his stomach was my 8 year old female her name was Tia Maria. I lost her on 3/4/09, the only reason I remember that date is because it was the day after my b-day. I had to take her to the vet and when I left there I was so upset I had to call my husband to sit with me till I could calm down enough to drive myself home. She was sick and had gone blind and had diabetes. The vet said there was nothing more we could do for her. My husband was working and told me not to go alone but I never listen.

This one laying on the arm of the chair is Tony he was my first min pin he is going to be 9 this year and still going strong just very grouchy is all lol.

and the other one in the pic is Babs and she is still very much the hyper puppy, I think she needs meds lol. She will be 5 this year and she is a product of tony and tia their last litter and happened to be the only puppy they had that litter so we kept her.

And my chihuahua my husband got me a week after I let Tia go. My kids now think I love him more than them I dont think he makes it to 3lbs. He follows me every where even to the bathroom, completely spoiled. His name is ace he just turned a year old in Nov. He wants to be held all day long just like a baby. I have created a monster with him, he truly is spoiled but when I got him I was so upset I poured everything into him and he is just my baby. I cant help it. I love them all. I still miss her deeply though. I dont ever want to go through something like that again.

My neighbor has a big Rottie that comes over and plays with Oly. It's hysterical watching those two! Oly stays close to the ground and acts like a slot car and Greta, the Rottie, acts like a horse! LOL

The little ones learn real young how to get out of the way so they don't get stepped on. :D

We got a breeding pair of english bulldogs too and a little black and white dog I can't remember the breed of and a yorkie. None of them have a tongue as long as yours does though.

For Col. and Ron and ALL of us that have lost our 'babies', I LOVE this poem, but, be warned, it'll pull your heart right out of your chest...

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Nice Rhetoric! It's sooo hard to photo a black dog but your's turned out nice! I used to have a black lab and we have ~150 photos of him but only about 10 that ever turned out decent!

My girlfriends an amateur photographer so with her bounce flash or whatever it is she has and her awesome camera her pics come out great... outdoors in bright sunlight my Kodak 8612IS does a good job, you're right though black dogs are very very difficult to photograph good. I have about 4gb of pictures of her... yes I love my dog haha.
