I twist mine really tight

I agree. That leaves nearly no room between the wires however because it's so tight it's virtually impossible to fix once you mess up. How do you keep the momentum going and go smooth the whole way while keeping it tight? This is especially difficult when wrapping around ribbon wire.

its quite a nice vape, getting lots of what i call fireworks being thrown from it or spits of juice/vape.

the only mistake i made was i only used 24g nichrome as main wire and the other two outer wires 32gA1 on 28gA1, the ohms are surprisinly really high, 0.7ohm so i had to put it on the sigelei at 8.5v= 100w

so next time maybe 22ga main and most probably A1 instead of nichrome.

How about some anchor chain?

yeah I know, I don't have IPV at the moment, but that's the way to go, it takes forever to get heated up. I've even built on a lot higher gauge, 34 around 32 around 28 but still kind of a hassle.

At this point I'm all about stapled twisted tiger coil. That thing is amazing. And most important I think I got the claptoning method down when wrapping around a ribbon wire which is an absolute nightmare. Ordered more wire so the moment that comes in along with my new attys it's back to coil work :thumb:
