I think this call for a moment of ECF silence.
My pipe was the device that got me of the dreaded analogues for good. Luckily my EM replacement atty bowl should be here in the next week. So it lasted for 72 Days of real hard labour. It was used as my primary device, with a 901 pass-through and Trog Screwdriver as a backup. She will be missed dearly, and the contribution to my life that she made was life changing.
I wrote a review on the DSE601 only this morning, with not knowing that her time was so close. Maybe if I get my replacement atty bowl, I must consider not using it as my primary all day pacifier. I know some other guys got longer life from their attys, by I suspect they did not use it as regularly as I did.
In memory of my lost DSE601 atty, here is the review that I did for it:
The DSE601 can be considered as my primary PV. I do have a few, but the DSE601 is always with me, while the others I alternate.
I find that the throat hit and vapour production is truly satisfying. It is this PV that got me off the dreaded analogues for good.
I am a heavy vapour, and the cart and battery lasts me around 8 hours. I use a PV as a Pacifier.
This PV is awesome for vaping and driving. No need to drip or fill up anything for 8 hours. Just vape away.
The device is a bit bulky, but I have no problem dropping it into my pants pocket.
The only big issue around this device which is a known fact is that the atty is part of the bowl. If the atty goes, the complete bowl needs to be replaced. So far, my first atty has been lasting for three months, and still performs as the day that I got it. I do follow a daily cleaning process of blowing out the bowl (atty) removing the battery and storing it overnight so that the excess juice can be drained from the atty before going to bed. The built in atty cleaning feature I also use around every three to four days.
This device will always remain one of my favourites, because of the little hassle involved in vaping it, and the satisfaction factor.
Pros:
The device produces awesome throat hit and awesome amounts of vapour. Truly satisfying.
The battery and cart life on this device is outstanding, and as a driving device it is perfect.
Although the atty is part of the bowl, if properly maintained, the atty life on this device is outstanding.
Cons:
Needs daily cleaning and storing process. (Not necessary a con, since in actual fact, with heavy use, all attys needs to be cleaned daily, and it is good practice to remove batteries from devices when not in use).
Heavy on Juice, since the cart hold 2.62ml of juice. (But remember I am a heavy vapour).
When the battery is low and the light flashes, you can not see it if you are outside in the daylight. (If you have been vaping for long enough, you would not need a light to tell you when you battery is low anymore).
All in all, still one of my favourite devices (It keeps the vapour coming). Just buy a backup atty, and it is the perfect PV.
