Hmmm...no wallop, not even a whimper. It appears that one of my batts is DOA after the requisite charge time. I got nothin'. I'm charging the second battery now. I'll try charging the dud battery again to make sure but something tells me I'll be sending it back. If they really only perform for a couple hours between charges, I'm sending the whole kit back. UGH!!

You are pushing the manual switch, aren't you? I ask because when I first picked it up, I forgot to and like you, got nothing...nada. I thought "No, not again!" Then realized I hadn't pushed the switch! Couldn't believe I did that....lol

I pre-ordered 2 Dura kits in Feb. (right before they stopped selling the auto batteries) and had asked Jeff to wait for the Dura-C batteries before shipping. My 2 kits were accidentally shipped out with the automatic batteries, to be replaced with the Dura-C's when they came in. I've been using the the Dura with the the automatic batteries for several weeks. No problems at all. The carts don't leak (any more than my 901's do) and all batteries & atomizers are working great. I really DO love the Dura
I got my new Dura-C batteries yesterday... and just tried one after the 8 hour charge... so far I'm lovin' the manual batteries too! :D

Well, after one full day of vaping my Dura-C, I'm feeling the love.

The ability to direct drip with the blessing of the manufacturer, well, that's pretty awesome. The BEST vape I've had yet was taking off the cartridge, adding a drop or two of PureSmoker Energee directly on the atomizer, and then vaping away without even bothering to put on an empty cartridge. Just put my lips right on the atomizer housing. The vapor was warm and plentiful, and I could feel it on the back of my throat and into my lungs. Oh, man. :w00t:

With the new cartridges I bought for the Dura-C, I'm experiencing no leaking. With my older Dura cartridges, I have the same leaking with the Dura-C as I had with the old Dura. Consequently, I'm thinking that the new cartridges have been tweaked just a bit--they fit more snugly than the old ones do.

The battery life isn't great at this point. I'm getting about 2-3 hours depending on how heavily I'm vaping with it. Imo, not as long as the previous batteries. Nonetheless, I can live with it . . . so long as the battery itself lasts for another month or two without serious degredation.

I'm enjoying the manual switch on the battery. I really like being able to heat up the atomizer and get a nice, long draw without having to do weird things in order to make sure the battery doesn't cut off.

With only one day under its belt, I'm finding that the Dura-C performs as well as the older model without the leakage issues (but with what appears to me to be a shorter battery life than its predecessor). For me, three weeks is the magic number, so I'm reserving judgment until then. :)

In the meanwhile, I'm thrilled to have my Dura back.

I ordered the original DURA in January and just love the cart size and the atomizer, I did NOT have bad leakage issues as I normally keep mine in an upright position when I lay it down.

I did have battery issues, even without dripping, so Jeff was quick to send replacements, alas, as most of you know, those didn't last long, but still had the 3 atomizers and just love them, so when the new manual batteries came in, Jeff graciously shipped me four of them and I truly love them.

I had a issue last night with overheating but waiting to hear back from him, as that may have been my fault. For now, using another atomizer and another battery and being cautious about overheating the atomizer, just in case that is what caused my problem last night.

Overall, I am so very pleased with this unit, as being a heavy user, the cartridge size and battery time is a good on the go or on the move around the house/office for me. Pass throughs with battery packs are great, but get a little cumbersome when moving around.

I know those of you who have the DURA C will know what I mean when I say it's hard to describe the pleasure of using this device, I just hope the issues are resolved both for our sakes and that Jeff and Janty get a break on what must be a bad time for them.

Jeff, under the circumstances, has been most cooperative and a joy to deal with. Really nice guy and I really appreciate his help in taking care of all issues.

I couldn't get mine in there without forcing it past the manual switch, which I wouldn't do. Seems it would ultimately ruin the switch....and the battery. Let us know how it goes.

So far I have charged 2 batteries with the PCC with no issues. It's a little snug in there, maybe a little sand paper will loosen it up.

Doesn't the switch get pushed in though? If so, I picture sitting here holding my switch in for even an hour....seems like something would get damaged. But no?

I don't think my switches don't activate in the PCC, but to be sure I will at sometime dismantle it and put a multimeter to the battery and check. If it does activate, while its apart it shouldn't be to hard to carve a channel into the plastic to allow for the switch.

My old Dura batteries that work (thank goodness) last about 4.5 hours.

I get thrown off every time someone says the batteries last
"several hours"

can you be more specific as to how long that would be, if say
you were taking puff after puff on a FULLY charged battery until it died?

the off and on that I vape, I have never had any battery last more
than 2 hours at best.

another question, will Janty be bringing back the AUTO/LED batteries
(with new battery vendor) at the end of the month?

I know everyone is in love with the switch, but I don't like it.
I never had a cutoff problem and when I'm puffin with my
teeth holding the janty (both hands busy on a video game...) I hate
having to hit a switch.

This is always a problem borj. I was alternating 8 penstyles a day. Would it be fair for me to say my batteries last all day? Maybe like that they do, but constantly hitting one they wouldn't. It's the same when people talk about atomizers. Well, if you vape your ecig a total of 4 hours a day and I vape mine 8, yeh, yours might last 2 times as long as mine. And that's why I don't make comparisons with what others do, unless I could know they vape exactly like I do.

Janty is supposed to come out with a "better" dura auto battery but I don't remember when this will happen.
