My evic just freaked out.

My new-to-me evic doesn't seem to like my lowish ohm rebuilt PT heads.

I'm not exactly sure what happened but I was using a 1.2 ohm head at 4.2 volts in VV mode. It was working fine with both battery power and pass-thru.

I left it attached to my computer to charge for a while. When I retuned to it, I wasn't firing correctly. It was delivering very little power to the coil. There was very little vapor production. I noticed the wattage pegged itself at 11W. Maybe it hit the amp switch?

I put a 1.7 ohm head in and it's working fine. I also tested the 1.2 ohm head on a mech and it fired fine.

Only some AVP will work if resistance is below 1.5 Ohm and most wont
(even more will not work with almost empty battery, only full battery)

Mech (without Kick) will fire as you would ask it and regardless of resistance

that is one of the many proc/cons of AVP vs Mech

1.2ohms is NOT LOWISH for an APV - it is WAY LOW

Much like Pool, the idea is to get it in the Pocket.
For eVic 1.5ohms - 3ohms is the target.
