Hello members.

i just want to share my experience after vaping for the past 3 days.
some background on my smoking history, i've been smoking for 20+ years. i average about 30 sticks a day, and it has never crossed my mind that i will stop smoking.

The recent price hike of cigs really ...... me off. i was even thinking of switching from salem to a cheaper brand, but what's the point i'll still be contributing to the inflated pay of our ministers. Honestly i never got into vaping to quit, i still loved smoking i just wanted to vape so that i could lower the cost of smoking while retaining the great taste of my Salem.

last friday i finally managed to sneak a PV across the bridge, and in the past 3 days i have only smoked 2 sticks of cigarette!
Amazing! but here's the twist, i only smoked 2 sticks because the Salem that i loved suddenly tasted like ....!!!

Here is what happened. i was chain vaping from saturday noon till sunday night, after dinner last night i missed my salem, went to the car to grab the pack and was expecting the great smooth taste to fill my lungs. then a wave of thick, stale, burnt taste filled my mouth. it was so bad i couldn't finish the whole stick. i tried another stick this morning again, what the hell!! yucks!! first i thought maybe it because my pack was stale (lao hong), i took a stick of salem from my friend at work this morning, still yucks. tried some lights (Mild 7), still yucks!! i don't know what's in the juice but i can't stand the taste of cigarettes?!?! i hope this keeps up.

My message to anyone out there that is on the fence about taking up vaping, i say do it. lastly i never did find an e liquid that tasted like salem, i started with a fruity flavoured liquid. maybe that "trained" my tongue to reject the taste of real cigarettes.

cheers.

Congrats bro on your new journey. I was like you and was worried at first and told to myself if i would be wasting money in getting all the gears but after a day or so, i apologised to my girlfriend for having to put up with me smoking for years. I suddenly couldn't stand the smell and taste of a normal cig. I have been off smoking for about 4 months now. I now know what it feel like to be a non smoker and talking or living with someone who smokes.

My breath is better, i feel better and most of all, my wallet is happier. Sad thing is that in my other house in Bolehland, i have more stuffs over here. I chain vape whether i am over there. I really hope that our men in white will realised that this is a life changer and if they are really serious about stopping people and especially teens from smoking. Please legalise vaping.... i will continue hoping and praying for this to happen soon.

Congratulation! When I first started vaping, it took me about a month to slowly give up analog and had never look back

Now I translate the $ spent for analog into mods, tanks and juices

HI VINSIN
Give it a try.
My advise is to get a tasty eliquid. something that does not taste like cigarettes.
what you want is the nicotine.
good luck.

welcome to the club, trust me the whole thing bout vaping is much more interesting than smoking, once you've dived into rebuildables and diy, it gets better! so many new things to explore, and you'll learn bout conductivity, electrical principles, chemistry and wicking materials and setups.

Its alot more fun than compared to smoking actually. alot of experimenting with flavours. texture. vapor production.

I love it. and couldnt wait for the day when it is actually "legal" here in sg.

sorry dude, without "them" finding any way to tax, approving will be close to impossible..........

there is no way to determine if inside a tank, the juice contains nic or not. It could be just plain pg.... if no nic, how to tax? "they" can't go to everyone of us and ask "can I check ur juice"? coz whilst they are at that, the other vaperers around the area will run away already.

as for the mod or the tank, there are too many for "them" to keep track....

now we have about 1mil on analogue here.... imagine the tax at $10/pack now, it is close to $10mil every single day. y shake the income on this and approve something "they" have no way of taxing?

it's all double standards.... "they" say vapering is not safe, but analogue is so much worse, with the 4000+ chemicals inside, but still can approve. No matter how bad, I am sure the health impact of vaporing is at most half of an analogue.

I dun think we will get what we want any time soon, unless "they" can think of an igneous way of taxation. But when that happen, the taxes will be sky high as well.

Is this what we want?

I personally don't mind "them" taxing... Just make it legal for us to enjoy our vape in the open. I planning to join Batman to fight crime soon since i spend most of my time in the darkness now to vape.

The next time I see fumes coming out from my closet, I'm gonna chain it and drop it into the sea. So you are the one making my clothes smell funky.

Oops fell off the wagon! Just had a puff of the analogue today.

Don't think of how many analogs u are taking...think of how many analogs are you NOT taking. :)

It's easier to psycho yourself this way...deprivation tend to feed the ugly addiction problem where the more the deprive yourself of something, the more you want to take it.

For me, my intent is just to cut down and eventually stop...I still enjoy the wakeup/before sleep/toilet analogs and vape the rest of the time cos I know if I deprive myself, I'll yearn analogs even more especially since vaping is illegal and can't vape in public.
