The first PV I had was a Blu about two years ago. I had the same issues as you, and after about two weeks, I lost them on purpose and went back to analogs. Good news: decided to re-try vaping, and the second time around is a lot better. Once you get your feet wet and look at the different options, I'm sure you'll find something.

And yeah, I agree with you. Smell and mobility have definitely improved.

Ok so I don't know if it's just me but, I'm prolly doing something wrong but I'm not getting much flavor from my e-juice when I use the Kgo and I also got the nasty taste when using the atty's I got with it. I forgot the post I read yesterday about blowing them out first. lol whoopsie ! I also got 2 tanks and hello flooding. I'm still learning and I'll be searching YouTube all night. Meanwhile if you guys have any suggestions please let me know. I also put a cart and atty on it and everything is fine. So yeah I think me and the tanks arn't working. I did drip and that also is amazing.

Hello fellow Hoosier! Welcome to ECF! Hope you can meet us at the meetup on April 28th at KG's pub in Indy. You'll probably learn alot if you come, and bring some money in case you find something you can't do without! lol! I've started ordering tanks
from Parkes Vaping, which is in Indiana. The tanks are doing very well so far, and no leaking or cracking.
Parkes Vaping
Click on 'tank mods', and see if there's anything there you can use. Their tanks are cheaper than madvapes, and I'm not having any problems with them so far.Sounds like you've learned alot so far...Quick study! lol! Hope I can meet you sometimes, and talk about vaping, have no idea what capping is, so hopefully Hoosier will be there to fill in the gap on that one! lol!

I will be there the 28th and with my boyfriend and some money. Plus I just ordered like 7 bottles of juice to share. I'm bringing the White peach ala zoe and some dragons blood along with fruit smoothie, peaches and cream and apricot all from ecblend. The white peach is I have to say the best thing to hit my lips since... well hmm lol um yeah so freakin good ! I also got Hawaii Sunrise and Truth serum from rawr vapor which hopefully will be in by the 28th. Also the 29th is my birthday and hopefully the boyfriend will get some gifts while we're down there.

I too started out with a Blu and have moved on to an eGo-c. Sooo much better. I've used the remaining Cherry Crush cartos on my ego battery and loved them, but don't last too long. I gifted the Blu to my mom to help her get off the analogs. So far she's been doing pretty good. I'm sure she'll want to upgrade as well. Congrats on the swith! Happy Vaping! and Happy Birthday!

I decided to buy a Blu starter kit about a month ago and so far I'm having a few issues. The pack doesn't charge, the battery life sucks, the cartomizers don't last more than 2-3 hours, there is absolutely no throat hit whatsoever, it's really hard to hit and the of course there's the burnt taste which sucks. A 5 pack here costs 16.50 and with me going through 2 cartomizers a day plus the ones that come DOA this is starting out to be way more expensive than smoking analogs. Now for the good part. I chatted with the people at Blu and they did give me a 10.00 credit which is cool and they did tell me to roll my cartomizers before using them which did help a little bit. The really good part.... I CAN BREATHE!
Just after quitting for about 3 weeks I can breathe so much better. When I carry a full load of laundry downstairs I don't feel like I'm going to pass out which is amazing. I really want to stick with this and I'm going to be trying the Smokeless Image Volt. I just don't think I can stay with Blu as I feel I'd be wasting my money. The issues with the cartomizers and the quality control is ridiculous, Now I do get a few good ones every once in a while but the bad ones are coming a lot more and I just can't afford it. So with that, does anybody have any idea's and do you think the volt will work for me and any advise would be great thanks.

I also bought the starter kit. I liked the fact that they were same size as a real cigarette. That helped with the quitting factor of real tobacco. But the battery life sucked, the cartomizers were sometimes dead right out of the package or they didn't last that long. Sometimes I would get a good one but not that often. Wasted alot of money on the blu. Then one battery died and eventually the charging pack died. That's when i threw them away.

My wife started using Halo brand. These have longer battery life and you fill your own cartridges with the juice. So now I am using these. There are some draw backs, but mostly everything is ok. I plan on giving these up after a year anyway. I just don't want to keep spending money to find a really good one. The juice is the way to go, because it is alot cheaper and the batteries seem to last longer. They are larger than a real cigarette, but that does not bother me anymore.:2cool: I wrote a short blog on my success with the ECigs if you want to check it out. Good luck with your quest to find a better ECig and let me know if you find a really good one please.

I haven't posted in a while and just wanted give an update and throw in a few reviews. I've been doing good with my Kgo and I plan on moving to mods really soon. The mod I'm most looking forward to of course is the Steampunk mod which will have to be saved up for. I decided to get three of Case's juices and I have to say they are all amazing. wicked berry blast, ..... slapped and hulk smash are absolutely amazing and I recommend anybody who likes fruit flavors to try them. You can get them at Kokomopurevapors.com I would also recommend truth serum, peach serum and Hawaii Sunrise from rawr vapors. My only setback was that I had two analogs the other day at a party. I was drunk and not thinking clearly. Other than that everything has been great. Oh and I actually now have my own namesake juice. I go by imperfectboi online and Wyatt Derp who you guys probably already know because he is ....ing amazeballs does a show on TVN and has made a few juices recently. BatDerp, and Imperfectboi Wonder. There is also Twoface Tonic. I'm also going to KokoFest this weekend and I hope to see a few of you there.

I just checked out the volt and it's 808 threaded.
You definitely want to buy your own "empty" or "blank" cartomizers. Another poster said the Volt is a 510 style device, if so then you should get some Boge "Low Resistance" cartomizers ... a 5 pack will cost you about $8 + shipping. And some drip tips (about $3 each... I recommend "delrin" material over metal)

For juices, I suggest you check out:

Ms Ts Bakery - My from her is SnickerDoodle and is my daily vape.
AVE - Boba's Bounty should cover the tobacco-ish flavored vape you might want
Dripeez - Awesome organic fruit flavors
ElectronicStix - Watermelon frost is an awesome flavor. Menthol watermelon. Great for "cleaning your palate" when you get tired of / can't taste your daily vape anymore. You can also buy your cartomizers and drip tips from ElectronicStix

You'll want to find a vaper's meet up in your area. Bring all your gear and juices... this way you can provide the opportunity to try new juices to the other attendees and also be able to try out some of their juices, too.
