I was so excited to try the Nuport juice that came today from Majic. Got out my Resurrector cartomizer, filled up the condom and stood close enough to watch the juice come to the top of the cartomizer. Must have pushed down to quickly as WHAM, Nuport juice right in the eye!!! Dear God that burns!!!

On another note, I ordered my sister a regular Joye 510 with Majic's BYGO sale that they have going on. I figured I might as well keep one set here in case my something goes wrong with my Ego. I set mine up, and WOW, after vaping on my Ego, I feel like I am smoking on a pencil!!!! I am not sure how my sister is going to like having to refill the carts, and I want to get her some cartomizers. Would my Resurrector ones work on this model, or is the battery too small to handle these?

As far as I know, ther Resurrectors are not recommended on devices lower than 3.7v, however I have seen other members say it should be fine as long as you keep the carto filling wet.

I wouldn't recommend it to someone just starting out on their vaping journey as they might get turned off by the amount of filling they'd have to do...but that's only my own opinion.

Good point, maybe I will try her on something smaller first!

Slim 510 uses cartos 2.5 to 3 ohm and Boge are most popular. LR stuff can damage slim batteries AS CAN Ego fast charging cables. Ego charging cables put out about 420mA and that is too much for slim 510 batteries. Label Ego chargers on both sides where the battery screws in so you don't accidentally charge the 510 in the Ego charger. Slim 510 charging cables put out somewhere between 150 and 250mA.

Actually, I don't think LR cartos are recommended for batteries with less than 650 mah capacity. The standard 510 batts don't last very long as it is. With LR, you may only get an hours worth of vaping before the battery juice runs out.

I have been using the Resurrectors on my 650 Egos for the past month or so with no probs. I notice that it takes 45 to 50 minutes to charge the batteries, compared to 30 to 35 minutes with the standard resistance cartos.

I am so hoping I did not make a huge mistake in the 510 that I got her, I just thought I would start her out with something simple. I took a few hits off of it, and there was NO throat hit at all!!!! With that being said though, I am not sure if that's because I am used to my Ego with the Resurrector carts or it could be the taste of the prefilled carts that came with the 510 kit (I believe they are just 18 mg tobacco flavored).

Probably a combination of all of the above. When I got my first NJOY, my first drag was like "Hey, wow! This'll work!" Within a few days it was way too weak to my tastes, so I got an eGo. First drag on the eGo "Here we go, now I've got it", which lasted about a week. Then I switched to LR cartos -- same result. Now, two weeks later, I'm starting to think seriously about a mod. Seems like I need to keep upping the ante with e-cigs.

But, starting from nothing, I'm sure she'll be impressed. And you'll be there to tell her about the more powerful options available.

Technically the ressurectors are made for 3.7v vaping only. Not higher or lower. If anything use them on a lower volt device. Their not going to be at their full potential though being at lower voltage they will be alittle power deprived but it will work. Like people said earlier tho, using them is really gona drain your battery quickly. I would just recommend getting a nice 5-pack of boges that are made to handle the lower voltage. Theres really not much point to using the ressurectors since they won't be at full potential and will drain her battery very quickly.
As far as using the ressurectors at higher voltages, I REALLY do NOT recommend it.. That's way too low of a resistance. You might be able to get a few hits out of it, but any extended period of time your almost guaranteeing to blow the coil and break it.

If your looking to get an affordable 3.7v mod, check out the EPower 14650. That's what I use and I absolutely love it. The ressurectors hit like a beast on it.
Andrew (the guy from CCV that sells the Ressurectors) highly recommends it. I would order it from there. I did a lot of research on where to get it before I bought mine and he has the best deal. The EPower package on CCV costs $57. Their are other vendors that have it cheaper, but once you calculate all the extras he throws in its a better deal.
With his package you get a FREE 5 pack of the ressurectors, a FREE 30 ml bottle of juice of your choice, and FREE shipping. It's at least $25 bucks in free extras, so put that in and your really only paying about $35 for the EPower. Plus, and this is a BIG plus, he's one of the only vendors that gives you the new plastic switch button instead of the crappy rubber one with the kit. If you buy from another vendor and get the rubber one, your going to have to pay $10 bucks to buy a new switch sooner than later. I've been using my original plastic button switch for months of heavy vaping and have not had the slightest problem with it.
And I would buy an extra pack of the ressurectors also because he throws in a free syringe with every carto purchase, and that's definitely the way you should fill the ressurectors. If you get a 15 pack he throws in a free syringe and a free drip tip of your choice. You'll be set.

I just remembered too, put in "ecf5off" and your get 5% off the order. Your not going to get a better deal anywhere

Really?

Liberty Flights, Mad Vapes, Got Vapes all sell ego kits with dual coil cartos.
