First time ever on building a coil.

OBS Nano (offset post holes on this one)
Kanthal 24g (came with the Coil Master kit)
8 wraps (sort of spaced) Counter Clockwise.
Cotton that came with the Coil Master. (Muji?)
2.5mm coil
.71 ohms

Admittedly, it's not that 'pretty' but fairly simple to do. Got tired of going through pre made coils every 2-3 days and everyone here convinced me to try doing my own.

Think I used too much cotton, at least for the coil itself. (a little tight)
Cotton just barely in the wick holes.

Have to say, the CM V3 Kit is really nice.

Waiting on a new mod for the OBS, SS & NI wire, and a bunch of other stuff.

I just started building about two weeks ago. Had a nano but not good for MTL. Now have Siren GTA and lovin it. Trust me, coil building gets easier the more you do. Its the wicking that can be tricky.

Second coil. SS 316L 26g .49 ohms. Cotton Bacon V2.
Still a little wonky and too low on the posts. These old eyes are waiting on the lighted magnifier I ordered.

Wish I'd started building a lot sooner. Seems fairly easy to do. (at least single wire, no fancy stuff)

NicotineRush,

I would be curious to read your thoughts/observations/impressions related to the vaping differences between 1st & 2nd coil builds. I believe it's interesting to hear how others perceive changes (good, bad, indifferent) from a first hand perspective when fresh in their mind.

First coil:
Kanthal 24g .71 ohms 8/9-wrap 2.5mm I.D.

Second coil:
SS 316L 26g .49 ohms 7/8-wrap ? I.D.

Gotcha.

That was something I was kinda surprised about when the Pico Mega came out. That it didn't except a 25mm Atomizer.

Really annoying but really my own fault. I was too anxious and didn't read carefully. Now I have a new mod that will probably sit in it's box, in a drawer, forever.

Or, maybe someone can recommend a rebuildable tank that fits the Mega. Single coil, (for now), and does not leak. I have no patience for faulty/poorly designed equipment.

I think Most of us have Done what you did at least once in our Vaping careers.

Mine was the TNT 80 Mod. A Great Mod. Built like a Tank with a Big Bright Screen. But Man is it Heavy.

As for a 22mm Rebuildable Tank? How about a Wotofo Serpent Mini...

$16.10 Authentic Wotofo Serpent Mini RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3ml / stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Or maybe a Tried and True Kanger TopTank Mini...

$22.41 Authentic KangerTech Toptank Mini Sub Ohm Tank Clearomizer - 4ml / 0.5ohm / stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Dang thing actually works!
Aspire Speeder 200w
Power setting (currently 20w)
SS316 7 wraps spaced.
Cotton Bacon
Black Note Prelude NET
4.9 ohms
No leaks.

Good cloud but not a lot of flavor?

Someone please explain 'spitting' to me. Getting some near the end of a draw.
