Yes congrats and welcome Niten. Glad so see you got a REO. Cool. Now I have another name to add to the list of new REOnauts for my next vid :)

Love it! Your videos are great for new and upcoming Reonauts! I have watched quite a few and they are very helpful in learning the ins and outs of a REO. Not to mention the good music and vibe of your vids :)

Congrats and beautiful Reo. It never stops when it comes to looking at more Reo's. There is a nice blue one I like on there when I get paid and if I can get a refund for my plane ticket since my plans can't happen. Although I may buy a guitar before a third Reo. Been thinking of trying to start playing again. I have a Reo that was stripped into raw aluminum. Looks really good. He left part of the original color on, but I like it.

What kind of guitar are you lookin into!? Have not played in a while but I have a custom Dean Limited run ML electric that I love and have been really needing to play a little more.

Here is a couple pics, came out kind of grainy on that first one :glare:

Dimebag Darrell fan? I do like his guitars. I like a lot of the guitars I see, but I don't want to spend a ton on a guitar I may not get back into. I've had Jackson's, Fenders, and Ibanez's. I was looking at an ESP or maybe just like the dean vendetta kit. Cheap guitar with an amp. Been looking on craigslist too. Not sure if I want to get back into the floyd rose type guitars. I do however wish the Carvin's weren't so much money haha.

Yeah I understand which is why I have never sold this one, I don'y think I could ever get my hands on it again. I have always love Ibanez as well. Had another Dime guitar too which got stolen some years ago :(

I agree with you on the floyd rose as well, they are a PITA to restring and that has been the main reason this has not been played in a while.. Needs new strings aha

I have a cheap acoustic I play often when the wife wants to play Ukulele.. Guitars are like REO's in that sense, which one are you going to drop the cash on..
I think I picked this guitar up for $1,600 when they came out, guess a REO isn't too bad! ahah

Sucks about the guitar, in high school someone tried to steal mine. Guess he didn't know my name was written on the other side of the spring cover :p
Most I spent on a guitar was probably the acoustic I had. it was a Breedlove I think it was right at $1000 for it. I kind of like the the Alexi Laiho V guitars. Not exactly like a flying fee, one point is shorter. I used to have a fender showmaster, that was a nice fender and had 24 frets on it. Floyd Rose's are good to stay in tune, but a pain in the .... to restring. I could restring 3 regular guitars before I ever got one with a floyd rose done. I keep going back and forth on guitars, thinking this go around I'll get a standard guitar. I don't use the tremolo anyways.

Nice setup man. Congrats on the new mod.

I too haven't picked up my babies in a while and probably should so I have justification for keeping them. I have a 5 string Ibanez bass and a ESP F-104 4 string bass that I completely rebuilt. Stripped it all down to nothing and repainted and reassembled/rewired. It jams now, and is my favorite guitar I guess cause of all the long hours it took to piece it all back together, plus it sounds amazing.

Had to dig for pictures  I wasn't one to take pictures when I was in High School it seems. Ignore the long hair, I thought it looked decent and now I prefer shaving my head haha. Just showing my acoustic and my Ibanez. Can't find a picture of my fender though, and a picture of when I was in band. I used to play a lot of instruments, but got bored with it when I got older and went into the Army for the time that I did. Not to derail the thread, but to keep it on the side mention of instruments :)

Acoustic (sort of)

Ibanez

Naw I am too nice, I am very humble and would never pick a fight that was not necessary.. That is supposed to be the way. Never once have I ever gotten in somebodies face over something small, just like vaping calm and courteous.

As all should be!

Love the ECF community for this reason mostly, the majority of people are mostly enjoyable company :)

I was never a fighter. I think I got in two altercations at Fort Knox. One dude got mad he had to run a hill because he was holding a hot weapon and shot a round through the truck bed with 11 others sitting back there when we were shooting from a moving vehicle. He body slammed the closest person, well that was me  Grabbed his flak vest and he got to roll down the hill the next time. Drill Sergeants turned their back, we were taught "If a Drill Sergeant didn't see it then it never happened" haha.

Second time some dude got mad because he had to stand fireguard for 5 hours one night (because he fell asleep on guard the night before), meaning he only got 2 hours of sleep. I was the guy before his shift and he tried to take anger out on me. Drill Sergeants told the guy he was lucky I hit the window instead of him. I destroyed a double paned window in the barracks. Granted I had to pay $250 for the window, but everyone chose someone else when they got mad after that.

I'm more of a mellow guy, just rather relax and avoid any fighting or arguing.
