Hey Nit,here are some pics as promised. my original battle tested & scarred 14500 mini. Did a little cosmetic surgery, kept it 2 tone so it would be a little different than my TRA Grand. This is my go to pocket stealth mod for when I'm out in restaurants, etc.. The paint came off quite easily and cleaned up nice.
Sucks about the guitar, in high school someone tried to steal mine. Guess he didn't know my name was written on the other side of the spring cover
Most I spent on a guitar was probably the acoustic I had. it was a Breedlove I think it was right at $1000 for it. I kind of like the the Alexi Laiho V guitars. Not exactly like a flying fee, one point is shorter. I used to have a fender showmaster, that was a nice fender and had 24 frets on it. Floyd Rose's are good to stay in tune, but a pain in the .... to restring. I could restring 3 regular guitars before I ever got one with a floyd rose done. I keep going back and forth on guitars, thinking this go around I'll get a standard guitar. I don't use the tremolo anyways.
If youre into les pauls, this site rondo music has some awesome stuff. Ive got an al 2000 off there thats better than alot of the higher end epiphones ive played. $200 plus shipping for a guitar thays honestly the best ive played below the the $800 price point.
