hello friends,

ill keep this short since its late and i just got home from a bday party and im tired but since you were all so helpful i wanted to give some feedback and let you know how my first day vaping went.

first of all, im done with regular analog cigarettes now.

shorty auto: i tried this first and i liked it a lot. i take 2 short primer puffs or 1 long primer drag and then inhale. i like it cuz its kinda like a regular cigarette

shorty manual: i am not too fond of holding the button down, but it certainly gives a stronger hit. i hear the crackling sound and then inhale.

flavors: i tried apple cobbler, margarita and kant. i really liked the sweetness of the margarita most probably but they are all pretty good. i look forward to sampling all of the other flavors now as well.

so overall im pleased. funny lil story too. i was at the gas station today and i guy was buying an e-cig that looked cheap as hell, and then i asked to see the carts, which didnt fit btw, and i was totally convinced that i made the right decision in going with such a reputable company.

i think i like the auto better overall, but ill see as the vapin continues.....i can see myself vaping more than smokin too as someone said, a light smoker turns into a heavy vaper lol

so thanks again for all your feedback, answers, help, etc....and ill probably post some more tomorrow here

thanks everybody

so middle of DAY 2:

i still have only tried those three flavors in different nic levels. i dont see too much difference in the nic levels affecting the vapor, but maybe thats because i was a light smoker to begin with. and maybe its the carts connection/airflow, but i seem to get a stronger hit from the apple and margarita over the kant. and i like the flavored ones a lil better actually. i think the different levels would affect heavy smokers who need a real nic fix, am i right? like the nicotine levels dont affect the vapor output or taste really, but they would affect your nicotine receptors in the brain...

anyway so BOTH batteries died at the same time, which was funny. i thought the cart was done, but i wasnt vaping all that much since i got em, so i figured it was the battery and sure enough, the 10 blinks came on the LED and i knew it was time to charge. however, the way i vape, the shorty is definitely enough for me. (definitely dont need an XL)

i can see using just one throughout the day, and then letting it charge overnight. if the first one dies in the middle of the day, i can always use the other too. so im glad i did get two batteries anyway.

can you overcharge them and do damage like that, i mean letting it stay on the charger overnight even when its done charging?

Yellow, you always ask the best questions...I was wondering the same thing and forgot to post it! Glad things are going as well for you as they are for me...

I'm the same way, I love the shorty batteries. They're easier to deal with and I use my pass through a lot. I like the manuals since I dont have to worry about overfilling my cartos (being new this happens a lot >< ). But V4L is definatly the way to go. I love not havin to worry about the functionally of my batteries. It really makes the switch so much easier to have products that work well.

Be glad you made the switch. After vapping for about a week, I had an analog cigarette at a friend's super bowl party and it literally almost made me sick ( didn't help that it was an unfilter lucky strike). I couldn't believe I've been putting all of that nasty stuff in my body for so long.

oooh thats rough, and unfilitered stoge after stopping...man, i wouldnt even smoke a cig without an activated charcoal filter (nat sherman, specifically fantasia or black n golds) and an added tar blocker filter. i also wasnt heavy into it luckily. i think i just like the smoking ritual, which is why vaping is effective for me. its not so much that nic fix, its the deep breathing with something being passed through. strange why smoking is so appealing to some, and not to others, but everyones different.

im glad you brought up the manual issue and refilling cartos because i wanted to ask about that. i understand the manuals are protected so that juice doesnt flow back into the batt and destroying it so id only try refilling the juice on my manual battery BUT

How many times on average can you refill a V4L cartomizer before the atomizer is done? in general of course as i know YMMV. i dont want to throw out all my first ones just in case i decide to try rejuicing.

There is no real average. Everyone is different.

I use a CoolCart for 5-6 days....constantly topping it off. Usually with the condom method. I don't bother cleaning them at all. After 5-6 days it doesn't perform as well and won't take as much fluid so I toss it and get a fresh one.

Some folks only fill them 3-4 times.....others go all out with rinsing and cleaning and use them for months.

ok then maybe a better way of asking the question is, how do you know the atomizer is dead? (forget about refilling frequency)...i could assume vapor production would lessen or flavor might be off/charred/burnt, but i really dont know cuz it hasnt happened yet

so how do YOU know when your cart/atomizer needs definite replacment (in that the heating element is no longer working, or working well)?

ya it just starts tasting like poo and not vaping well...you'll learn very quickly. if you over kill it one vape will taste like death and you have to drink something to get the nasty taste out yo mouf! I noticed when I first started my taste buds were so twacked that sometimes it was hard for me to tell. Id have to let someone try it to tell me it did indeed taste like crap!
