ONe trick to do is not feed the cotton through the coil but lay it out underneath and don't use too much thick cotton keep it thin.....One thing advanced builders are doin now is laying the cotton underneath in a cloud and make the cotton cover one side of the coil leaving one end open. Less is always better with cotton

I just built my first Microcoil with a cotton wick. It is 1.8ohms with 10 wrap of 30g kanthal boiled organic CVS cotton balls.
It seems to produce less vapor than a similar resistance coil with silica wick. Suggestions?

The biggest issue I see is that your coil is way too far from the air hole. Here's my coil placement in a dual coil Trident:

This gets the coils much closer to the air holes. Coil height matters too. Then just be careful to align the holes in the cap with the coils when you put the cap on. If you turn the cap a bit you'll get less flavor and vapor but more TH.

And as others have said, you've got a lot of cotton in your build. You can see how much less I have in mine. Notice also the cotton does not get bigger when it's wet where it comes out of the coil because I didn't put too much into the coil.

Try these changes and let us know how it goes.

Awesome thanks everyone. I had some 28g kanthal so I wrapped a new coil at 1.5ohms and put in much less cotton. I also left longer legs on the coil so it is closer to the air hole, and lower than before. Much better vapor production now. I can't even believe how little cotton it takes. I boiled a big handful of cotton balls and re-wicked a number of times and haven't put a dent in one cotton ball.

Looking at the picture you seem to have WAY too much juice and cotton. You can just as easily flood a dripper as you can a regular tank. The result is that the excess juice pulls heat away from the coil and produces less vapor. Tone it down a bit and you'll be fine
