My first Mod Build

Hey fellow vapers. This is my first mod Build mainly out of parts I had laying around. Looking for suggestions. I basically have this mocked up for now. I used a Spare AR15 grip with bottom floor plate access. 510 Connector, 18ga zip wire and to conceal the wires up top I used some Kydex that I use to build holsters for guns. I think it looks good. Any precautions I should take? Also I used a momentary switch that i found in my parts box from Ham radio projects. Not sure if I need to add any circuit protection. I still need to get some 18650 battery holders to place in grip to hold the battery.

Looks interesting... is your switch also just a mock-up until you can find one that's properly rated for the current, or is that one good for the current you intend to draw?

Wire *looks* good enough, a little hard to tell.

Don't you find it odd to use a 'pistol grip' to point something in your mouth and then pull a trigger ;)

Just be sure of the current rating of that switch. The orientation of the switch on negative is unique, but, as the housing is plastic should be OK. I like the idea. It's as ergonomic as a handheld device can get. Make this a tabletop mod. I wouldn't want a misfire in your pocket to melt the housing. Without a safety on the switch, it's definitely not a pocket mod. God job, modder!
