Here she is just need suggestions for a cheap but budget rda. Full SS, locking firing pin, and takes 18500 or 18650s. I think I plan to use 18500 since they are cheaper. What's a good cheap site to get a nice rda and batteries? My charger is the xtar :)

Plus one for RTD Vapor for batteries. :thumb: You are going to need an ohm reader or digital multimeter to measure your coils for the RBA.

You'll want IMR high-drain batteries. Depending upon if you will be making sub-ohm coils or not, pay attention to the amp rating of the batteries. Sub-ohm coils will require 30 amp batteries.

For an inexpensive tank RBA clone, I recommend a Kayfun-style RBA

For an easy, budget RDA, the IGO-L is often recommended.

The 18500's are a bit cheaper and a little shorter but they are limited to app. 15 amp draw. For me, I would take the 18650's because you can get 30-35amp and more battery life for only a slight increase in size and price. I picked up a pair of purple Efest IMR 30 amp 18650's on ebay for like $18 (free shipping).

More amps will allow you to build lower ohm coils and get much more power to your coils. Check out Ohm's law | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators to see the difference in amp draw and watts based on the resistance of your coil and the battery's voltage (use 4.2v vs the rated 3.7v for a fully charged battery)

For an RDA I am really digging the Quasar clone (purchased on ebay for app. $14.00 + free shipping), great stock airflow, good for single and dual coil setup. Dual nano dragon coil at .5 ohms, it is a beastly fog machine. Feels like taking "water pipe" rips vs sipping vapor thu a coffee straw IMO, YMMV.

-Best of Luck-

If you're wanting to get into rebuildables, you're going to want the 18650s. And get the ones rated for 30 amps. It'll give you a greater range of possibilities. And you'll be safer should you accidentally hit that subohm territory even if you don't mean to. Not that that should happen, because you should always check a new coil with a multimeter. But you can never be too careful in my opinion.

You don't need 18650 batteries to subohm...0.3 ohms on a full battery only draws 14 amps.

In other words you can easily go down to 0.5 ohms on the purple efest 18500.

That said the battery life would be terrible at 0.5 ohms on an 1100mah battery. Personally I use the Sony vtc5's and can usually get a full day out of one @ 0.8'ish ohms.

Which mod is that? It suits my style just fine and I am due to purchase something new and shiny that I don't need.

It's the telescopic promod from vaporbeast. Highly recommend them as a retailer! It's was originally 60 and I got it for 17 to my door with coupon code ( Yeahbaby ) free shipping on everything as well ! Fast shipping too! Don't get the promod plus because you need a 510 adaptor . They have the lavatubeod on sale for 24 now. I am pretty dead set on the Igo-l I think. Any other options beside the igo just incase? batteries are another story.

Just finished talking with a nice lady at Vapor Beast. They don't ship internationally but hope to in the near future. I guess I will need to find something else shiny to get for now. Honestly though shipping to me would have cost more than the mod so I don't blame them at all.
