It won't be a problem, just have the cap off, put juice on it a drop at a time, until the wick won't hold anymore. Count how many drops you put on to saturate it, then use about 1/3 of that to re-wet it whenever it starts tasting dry. You're going to have a blast building on that little thing! Good luck! My tip: use fluffy cotton rather than silica. I love using cotton from qtips. I was blown away by the difference.
I used cotton for a while but went back to silica. For me, it was way to easy to burn cotton and I was always changing wick. I like silica better anyway. To the OP.. try both

I just watched different vids on youtube and see others after they build their new setups they burn them with a torch to oxidize the wicks and then i see one post that someone else rinsed his with hotwater first (cap and premade wicks)...am I jus over reading info?

Yeah I've heard of that as well, tried it... I don't like to do it though. Silica gets fragile and stiff after burning it red. after that, shards of silica come off real easy. Becomes a mess and I worry I will inhale some of those shards. Some people burn it to freshen it up after using for a while or to change flavors, but everytime I try that it tastes burnt after, and is very very fragile. These are some of the reasons I like the cotton. It can just be pulled out of the wire wrap and changed out with fresh cotton very easily. I never tried rinsing silica with water.
I was thinking the same thing that if i burned it like that it would lead to problems i wouldnt want..thanks for the info
I did what you said jus put the juice in it and Vaped away..Wow what a difference! thanks for the advice
I ended up closing the bottom hole and drilling new air hole in the side of the cap, Stock airflow was to stiff
He is right. Never had an Issue with silica. If it bothers you that much get some xc-116.
I drilled it to 1/16 and happy with it. I'm also using German silica and very happy with this as well.
