The vivi nova has enough poor performance problems that you shouldn't even have to complicate matters with type of shell on a tank, temperature, or humidity. The thing just cannot keep up with a simple carto tank or rba. If it wasn't so cheap, I would probably hear more people complaining about the poor performance.

I agree totally with this statement. I cannot use them on my vmax at all really. I know the Vmax has some pretty powerful peaks in voltage, but if I am using a 2.8 head, and I set the vmax at 3, the juice out of the nova still tastes burnt. About the only battery I have that runs the VVN okay is my twist.

I noticed when a horseshoe is a shopping cart on a happily closed honeymoon whilst the moon is full on a empty night , and fishing for gophers using iguana's as bait, when sleeves have a vest but vests have no sleeves that I get half power when it is multiplied by 2 while using a metal tank on a vivi nova, causes me to crave a delicious sandwich.

I am SO glad I had already swallowed the beverage I was sipping BEFORE reading this, or I'd be cleaning my screen right now LMAO

Going crazy is scary but once you are there it is a beautiful thing :) I am always available as a tour guide ;)

Do you do tours of the Death Valley or the Sahara Desert, because I have a sneaky suspision that you've gotten a tad bit of too much sun..

While I am here, let me make a statement on my view of the VVN's. The only thing that the Vivi Nova's are good for are rebuilding. Get some 32gauge wire and 2mm wick in there and you're golden. Remember though, you have to be using a VVN that is higher than version 2.5 for it to work. :)

The only thing that could cause a difference between tanks would be a size difference. ( I think :p ). If a replacement tank was a hair shorter it would cause the silicon tube to be pressed harder onto the head when the top is screwed on. This would press more onto the wick, chocking it a bit and giving dry hits.

Ok, if that makes it measurably better, that's a start towards convinced.

Otherwise, this thing can't come close to challenging an ST carto.

Also just a quick note from something I have noticed with using metal tanks as appose to glass or plastic. The flavor is drastically altered in a metal tank almost giving the juice a metallic taste. That's just me though.. also I feel that The T2 Kanger also known as the CC changeable PERFORMS WAAYYY better. But again that is just my opinion
