Hi RippleInStillWater,

Just curious what kind of class was it your son took that they would being ask a child a question like that?

I supposed that I'm being just a little bit paranoid but that sounds a little to close to something I would expect to hear out of the classics, Fahrenheit 451, Clockwork Orange, 1984, etc.

playing Devil's Advocate here:
E-Cigs are dangerous considering they use Li-on based batteries and so there is always possibility of explosion due to misuse.
I can also understand why a teacher would tell kids that E-Cigs are "dangerous" (they must say so in order to prevent children who don't smoke analogs to start vaping as a lifestyle / looking cool option).

Poliound, As for dangerous, I think everytime we pick up a cell phone we are risking explosion just as well. Same goes for many, many daily used items ran by lithium batteries, Even playstation 3 has lithium batteries in their controllers that kids use. Also I do agree on teachers telling children that they are bad just to keep them away, But that can kick you back in the .... when your child would say, daddy thats bad for you, but after a little explanation they need to know its to help stop smoking altogether.

Oh I definitely understand their "message"...and my kids do take interest sometimes in the gadgets that we have, especially the GG's. But I always remind them that even though I enjoy "vaping", the smartest thing to do is never start smoking at all.

Bristow, Ok.
Hi Stormy I was checking in to see how you are doing? I hope all is well and you are healing up. You are still in my prayers.
I am propped up in a recliner at my daughters house. She and my poor son in law are taking very good care of me. I am doing good. I am very blessed.

Vaping Heaven
My 17 y/o son was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago having emergency surgery for a MRSA infection. I was vaping in the hallway, waiting room, my son's room, the elevator... & no complaints from anyone. The nurses saw me & said nothing. I had a few discussions with different nurses, who were looking after my boy, and they all thought it was cool.
