I have a few other devices, but use my GLV 99% of the time. I work construction and I chain vapor so I always have my GLV in one hand and whatever I'm working on in the other. Over the last 2 years I have dropped my GLV a few hundred thousand times and it has many battle wounds from it . My hands wore all his pretty black finish off and never do routine maintenance. Despite all the abuse he has never not fired and has given me a good vape always when I pushed the button.

Only time he would not fire was when I dropped him off a second story building and he hit so hard it knocked the + pin right out the bottom of the head along with whatever material surrounded it. I lost some parts and had to twist some wires back together inside, but it went right back in. As a quick fix for the rest of the day I melted a wax construction pencil and dripped it in both ends to keep pin from shorting. That was 8 months ago and its still working flawless so no reason to "fix" it. LOL

I have taken other devices to work, but they only last a few days at the most before I break the 510 connection off or worse. I thought about posting this today after taking a new lava tube to work for the first time and breaking it in the first hour.
Luckily my GLV was waiting for me in my car .
My GLV has had a rough life so far, but it's working great! He has many more years left in him I'm sure.
I will buy another someday just to keep at home and treat it like it deserves.

I love:hubba: my GLV and the best investment I have ever made. I highly recommend GLV for anyone hard on personal vaporizers.

Here are a few pictures of my poor GLV. (Warning some may be graphic )

Baby picture  3-4 months after I got him.

My pair will be 2 years old in Feb... both of mine have been rode hard. Both have been dropped countless times and they have both taken an accidental bath into a couple feet of water.

Neither have ever skipped a beat for me :) and they both mostly have their colors intact. One of these days I'm going to send them in for an update to the current threaded pin, but I always think 'why fix what ain't broke!'.

Maybe you should strap it too your neck?

LOL When I first got it I did have a neck strap. It worked ok until one day I was bending over fast to grab something and the GLV swing around and smacked me right in the face hard:facepalm: LOL. A flashlight holster works well but I mostly just stick it in my back pocket if I must take my hand off it. It's very hard on other 510 connections but never a problem for my GLV :)

Thank you jaybird for offering to go so far above and beyond with your customer service. It really reflects well on your commitment to make sure your putting out the best product and keeping your customers happy.

I am however going to gracefully decline your great offer at this time. I wish to continue the durability test for a few more years.

Thank you :)
