My Hilton tastes like popcorn....

It wasn't meant to be a joke. I'm curious how other vapers perceive this flavor. If my bottle is defective, I will try it from another vender. Maybe I will mix some coke flavor with it. I do love popcorn and coke.
You didn't say where you got your Hilton from.
I have Hilton from eastmall.net and ruyandirect.com and neither taste like popcorn.
Mine has a light smooth, slightly carmel/tobacco flavor.
I mix it with my menthol drops and I get a really smooth vape with it.

I got mine from Ruyandirect. What you are describing is what I was expecting. If my daughter hadn't commented on the popcorn smell, I would blame it on wacky taste buds. I will try a sample from somewhere else in case it was just a bad batch. I love carmel. Thanks for your help!
Corki - if I had to choose a favorite, I would choose the eastmall.net Hilton flavor. They have a sub-forum here in the sponsored supplier's section.
The ruyandirect.com Hilton is good, but the flavor is a little on the light side. But I stocked up on it a few months ago, maybe your batch of liquid is different than mine.
Try shaking the bottle really well right before you use it and see if that helps with the flavor and gets rid of that popcorny taste.

I just got some from Ruyan, tastes like tobacco. I thought it would be more like 555.
I shook it and then went at it from the perspective of what it's supposed to taste like and it definitely tastes better. Perhaps the suggestion my daughter made of it smelling like popcorn had something to do with my initial perception. I think I just won't vape it when she's around. Thanks everyone, I appreciate the info.
That makes sense though, I think it was Jim Davis who said he vapes unflavored and it tastes like popcorn. So if your flavor settled that was probably the reason!

Smells aren't always the same as tastes. Think cigars and pipes. With a few notable exceptions, Padron Exclusivo, for example, cigars usually smelll worse than they taste, whereas pipes smell better than they taste, in my experience.
The Hilton's I've tried - eastmall and ruyandirect are almost exactly like mamu describes - "light smooth, slightly carmel/tobacco flavor", with ruyandir. running slightly lighter, with even less carmel.

Well just think "popcorn" like I did and it'll come through or you, I bet. My dad once pointed up at an airplane on Christmas eve and said it was santa's sleigh. You know, I actually saw the sleigh complete with reindeer and I heard the bells, so I'm definitely easily lead.

This has got to be one of the most frustrating things about vaping. Flavors are so subjective and they seem to vary from vendor to vendor and even batch to batch from the same vendor. I got some Hilton from litecig that tastes more like an anolog than anything else I've tried. I didn't get caramel at all. Ruyan's was about the same.
I have gotten RY4 from four vendors now and they all taste a little different. Even two batches purchased at separate times from Ruyan taste different.
I often find, though that when I switch flavors for a while and then come back, they are not what I'm expecting.

I love TW Hilton, to me it has a very smooth tobacco flavour.
I do sometimes wonder though if some bottles of juice get mislabeled as I once bought a bottle of French Pipe that tasted so much like chocolate it was like vaping a bar of Galaxy
