Apparently any XL carto will work with your Inferno tube tank. It looks like you don't need to pay for the overpriced Inferno cartos. I'm thinking they might just be re-branded.

Ed_C is correct, in regards to the inferno lineup, the previous cartomizer version and the new BC version, these are just re-branded items marked up with the volcano logo.

I still don't know what that means. I'm embarrassed to be asking this since I've been vaping for so long. You would think I would already know the answer to this. On the IBTanked website they have 3 different XL cartos. 1.7 ohm, 2.0 ohm, and 3.2 ohm. What exactly IS ohm? How do I figure out what type of battery the Inferno is and what non-volcano accessories it will support?

Its the resistance of the cartomizer. If you are using an inferno battery, then go with the lowest Ohm rating. I could be wrong, but I believe the voltage the inferno battery puts out is at max 3.7v, then quickly drops to 3.3V.

The inferno battery will not accept any outer thread covers (plinth), so you are stuck with just the o-ring and silver sleeve thingy.

most of your B&M stores are going to be really bad.. its just the way the business is designed. the products they carry are low quality, that's why you see lots of clone parts and e-liquid you have ever heard of. most B&M's cater to the people with out credit cards or debit cards or knowledge of what a prepaid visa card is. selling crappy goods to people with out any way of buying stuff off the web is the only way they will make money you cant really try to compete with the internet, you can however try to find that niche market of people that can not or will not buy stuff off the internet.
i am lucky enough to have a local B&M about 45 minutes from my house that sells genuine products only. and name brand e-liquids. they charge and arm and a leg for the products. and i dont see a lot of high dollar sales. mostly people just picking up 10 or 20 mL of e-liquid. but if im in a pinch and need something in a hurry i can run up there...

My only really local shop has signs all over the display case: "NO WARRANTY on any item in this case. These are considered disposable items".

Buy it Monday morning at 11:00 am and if it leaks when you fill it at noon ...... tough. If the coil is no good - tough. Any issue at all - tough. The policy is supposedly to protect them from the flakes who buy a new clearo and decide they don't like the 'vape'. I wasn't raised that way - I am not going to screw them, yet I get treated as if I am a crime boss!

Bought a eGo-C Upgrade battery on a Saturday; Monday it wouldn't hold a charge. They told me my T3S was shorted and draining the battery. I told THEM the T3S was a new one I bought WITH the battery. Too bad - "NO WARRANTY on any item in this case ( where my clearo was displayed)." Two days and I was out far more than the T3S and battery cost me. I was out of 'faith'. Screw 'em ..... now I buy online and take my chances; the price is 50% LESS than the B&M and if one is bad I'm still money ahead. I don't spend big bucks at any one time; but, over time I spend enough to make it a good idea to treat me well. They don't appear to agree. Typical with a captive audience. It's BS.

I would have looked her square in the eyes and explained that I in no way created the product issue and I expected an equal exchange for a working component. If she refused I would have called her every name in the book and likely would have to been asked to leave and never return. Sure its only a couple dollars but its the principle of it all. Thats the worst customer service you can get and I pray you never spend another dollar there.

The 1.7 ohm will be hotter than the 2.0 ohm which will be hotter than the 3.2 ohm.

Aim for the middle - 2.0 ohm.

Wow. That's a lot for a carto from a BM store. The most I pay is a 1.50 at the local shops here. There are 8 with in a 20 min drive of my home though. A few are overpriced. A few sell a lot of clones, and a few carry nice high end stuff. The one thing that really sets the store I go to apart from the rest is their excellent customer service. They know people can go to other shops or get Stuff on line. They treat everyone right so they will keep coming back instead of driving down the street.

I can feel for the OP's situation, but I can also see the retailers point of view. If I buy something like a pack of carto's and 1 doesnt work properly Im not gonna ask the retailer to replace it because as vapers we know that it happens, more often than it should even. The retailer didnt make it. Now heres the issue with the brick n mortar though. They charged 2wice the price (in the op's case) so I feel they should have replaced it. If he'd bought a hole box and 1 was bad id say chalk it up to thats how it goes. But buying 1 and its bad AND they charged the price of 2 they should of replaced it. NOW, when it comes to replacing faulty merchandise at a b&m in general I tend to agree with the no return policys they tend to have. If you ever sit around and hang out for a while at your local vape shop you can see first hand how many new vapers (cause that tends to be the majority of their clients) come in thinking that the store has sold them some bad products when in fact they are at fault for destroying or misusing the product. That or its really not even messed up in the first place they just dont know how to operate it properly. Ive seen this SO much. I dont think the store I live near would make it if they let people return everything that people thought was sold faulty to them. So I can see both sides of this issue.

But in this case the OP is right to want a replacment for free. At the price they charged it wouldnt have even been a hit for the b&m to replace it for free.

Just because something "is the way it is" does not mean you have to accept it..its only "the way it is" because people accept and do not stand up for themselves or others for that matter..imagine if the civil rights acts never happened, women's lib, boston tea party, now i know lol and haha these examples may be a little to the extreme when equating to a few bucks in a vape shop, but just think about it next time you punch the clock at work, have to hand the utilities a check, the landlord has his hand out, daycare, gas in the car, those few bucks add up, like someone said earlier, money is earned both ways, mine and the retailer, i'm not fond of giving my hard earned bucks over to anyone unless they earned it or i truly owe them a debt or some form of gratitude....we should reverse the roles, how about the vape shop let us take home a pack of 5 cartos and try them all out for nothing, if 3 work fine then we come back and pay them for the 3, that seems fair since we all know this is to be expected that some may be doa, tell the vape shop to chalk it up cuz thats how it goes....
