I have say as well a Twist is a great grab and go unit for vv and pop on a clearo you are set for quite awhile. Batt life is pretty good if vaping at low volts, crank it up and it drains fairly quick, but I like mine and use it everyday. The Provari with tanks and Clearos on the Twist, I am good to go! LOL bnrk

I love my Provari as well as my Silver Bullet with a Kicked in it from Evolve and would easily recommend either the Provari or any good 18650 mod with a Kicked added to it. However the eGo Twist has a lot to be said for it as well. Many folks are using them now and with them available as low as about $20 shipped it is a great way to get a few VV devices for a low price.

Always wanted to get the Silver Bullet.

That's one of the problems I have with the cheap knock-offs is their limitations. I'm use to getting 21+ hours of heavy vaping at 5 volts with my PV. Why they use such cheap batteries/circutry in these knock-offs when they make enough of them to keep the cost low and could put better batteries in them is beyond me. Planned obsolescence unfortunately.

I would go with a 1.5 or V2 LT. They both read resistance and it is easy to change voltages in .1 v steps from 3.0 to 6 v. You can get a complete 1.5 kit for 52.00 or a V2 tube only for 44.00 at Vapor Alley. VA Variable Volt Mod Version 1.5

Another good VV is the Ovale V8 for 29.99 at DV Ovale V8 Incremental VV Body - Black Rubberized

There are some great buys for good VV devices right now.

Thanks all! I love reading all the suggestions! I'm getting a Apollo mini Vtube and may get a few more goodies as well soon. I'll eventually get a provari too. Keep any suggestions coming, reading up on all of them! Feel like I'm catching up on things to so it really does help.

Any add-ons that ya'll would recommend to put on the Apollo??? Better batteries, better tips, etc?
:)

For a 5.0v tube mod, I'm pretty fond of the triple-v from kalamazoo vaper shop. It's a little bit bigger than the silver bullet, has a nice horn switch, and holds a pair of IMR 18350s for great vape time between charges.

You've gotten recommendations for most of the good VV tube mods out there, but two or three were overlooked so far. The Diamante and the Joker AV from VaperLife are good VV tube mods. Also, the Sabertouch from VaperMoon is highly regarded. Both VaperLife and VaperMoon also have 5.0v tubes in their line ups.

Personally, If I'm spending the kind of money most of the suggestions require (not all of them - but several mentioned are on the high end of the price spectrum) for VV, it's going to be a feeder. I have the Notcigs VVPV and the REO VV Woodville (mentionable is the fact that the REO VV Grand is due out in two days). I couldn't pick a favorite between the two if I tried. I've been running the VVPV with a cisco hh.357 atomizer for three months and the VV Woodville with an ikenvape i06 atty for a month. These combinations produce the best and most hassle free vaping experience I've had to date.

Did you mean the Apollo Mini Vtube? If so the 5.5 ml Apollo Tank from DV is a good match especially if you got the chrome one.E2 Apollo Tank
The Vivi Nova 3.5 ml tank from Gotvapes works real good too. GotVapes Vision ViVi Nova™ V2.5 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

wow donnah has hit it on the head. The Provari is what every serious vapor wants in his or her tool box. I myself have not took the plunge but have thought about it every day. I do however have the eGo twist and love it. I love VV and will never go back to fixed voltage vaping again. I have been saving up for either a provari or a buzz pro. I would not rule out a nice box mod either. The REO brand have a hge following and a great track record. They do I believe have a VV box out now, the only downfall for the REO is the wait time as they always seem to be sold out. MadVapes also have several mods that are worth considering. I currently use a mom and pop vapor shop minisub tank with a boge 2.0 ohm cardo. This set up is easy to fill and works flawlessly every day. I climb communication towers up to 1000 feet and this setup go's every were I go. I also use the smoktek dual coil xxl cardos, they are nice and slim and work very well at the 3.2 - 4.5 volt range.

That isn't my picture. I just copied it from a thread. I don't have a chromed Vtube but do have the Apollo tank. I think they look real cool together though. I have a black mini and silver a 1.5 18650.

Yes you are probably right. The Twist does last fairly well but not as long as my Provari batts and I use the mini. But I am impressed with the Twist for an ego, I was using it today with a couple tanks and it worked well. bnrk
