Well Rob, I'm sure you'll be reading this, so I'll make this one for you!

Its darn near perfect. It does exactly what I'm sure Rob designed it to do. Crank out flavor like nobody's business with slick looks to compliment a time tested device that has as high of a regard as the Provari. The small chamber design really heats up fast, which lets us raise our ohms considerably compared to your average 22mm dripper. This isn't really something you want to drill because I made that mistake with the RM2. Drill those holes too much and your going to start getting hot flecks of juice on your tongue while taking your draw. I made a monster hole on my RM2 and stopped using it (also because I acquired a modified Trident V2)

Its a flavor machine!

However it's not without its flaws, and Rob, we all love you and we know you value feedback from your faithful customers, so here is mine.

Problem one is where you insert the drip tip. This is the most major one for me. Its alot wider than the part on my Trident where I insert my drip tip, and my favorite drip tip came from drip tip designz. Its one of those fancy carbon fiber ones with dual O-Rings. It is BY FAR the most snug drip tip I've ever used, and i can pull my Trident V2's top cap off with the drip tip. It sits pretty tight.

However, on the RM3, it sits loose, and would probably fall out if I turned my Reo upside down. So what I would hope would happen is that diameter of the trip tip hole be tightened up by a few fractions of a millimeter, problem solved. The drip tip that came with it sits pretty snug though.

The other "flaws are probably just minor gripes. What I would like to see would be slightly enlarged holes where the wires thread in to the posts. I think it would just make it a little easier to build on. It's not like we need that so we can use bigger wires or anything, it would just make it easier.

My final suggestion would be to have two ports where the juice flows up and have them flow outward from the posts, not in between them. That said, the deck on this thing is so tiny that its not a real big deal either way. With a good Squonk, your wicks are going to get juiced up no matter what.

Overall Rob, I think the RM3 is a real winner. Gives a nice tight Protank II type draw with 1000X more flavor, and the vapor production is great for a tight draw. This of course is all dependent on your build (and how proficient you are at building) but for 35 bucks? Cheaper than a Chalice to say the least!

Oh! Adjustable airflow on these tiny little guys would be the icing on the cake =]

Or maybe I'm just an idiot and all this will all be incorporated into the Reomizer 6.0. By the way, can anyone tell me what the RM5 is?

Great review I am glad your enjoying the unit . Its a modified atomizer I really dont have much control as to the production of these . I am sure there could be some improvements the small holes I have to agree with you could be larger . I did make sure it could be coiled with 28 gauge wire . I haven't used one my self I figured it would be a flavor machine

Yep, I coiled it with 28 gauge. I think I would have a hard time getting dual coils to work with 26 gauge, but that would be way too hot of a vape with 26

Out of curiosity, with what atomizer, gauge of wire and wicking material do you run your own Reo(s)?

Ha! I logged in to also give Rob a glowing review of the RM3. I received my new sub-ohm rebuild kit and RM-3. Got everything installed and without hesitation, drilled out the air holes on the RM3 to 1/16". Wrapped a dual coil 28 gauge at .4 ohm and it was working well, but knew I could do better.

Had some 27 gauge laying around so I did a 27 gauge sleeper coil arounda a 5/64" bit with the coils close to center, close to the posts and at post hole height. BAM!!! Flavor, density, vapor, heat... through the roof!

I have some expensive drippers I use on tube mods but they never leave the house. My Reo is my go to tried-and-true device and the RM3 with the new contacts has made it WAY WAY better.

I hate the drip tip it comes with, but that's not Rob's doing. I use the plastic one from my RM2 and like it the best even compared to my wide-bore drip tips I use on my other drippers. I might also try to drill the holes in the posts out to accomodate 24 gauge wire, but this dual 27 gauge coil is hitting like a beast and has really stepped up my Reo

Sincerely,
- Happy Reo Vaper

I run my modded trident v2 on my reo with a sleeper as well. Works easier on a trident because the posts are slotted, so all I do is pre-assemble the entire sleeper build and just lay it on the slots, put the nuts back on and I'm done. My trident+reo has been my go to setup for a while now. Really wanna try some of his new ones. A new atty per paycheck sounds doable!

I posted this review in another forum, thought I'll put it here too:

Alright, so I got a couple of these in the other when I ordered my 4th Reo. First impressions, they actually look quite well built.

According to the site they are stainless steel with nickel plated brass posts, not sure how I feel about that. I guess I will be checking the posts much more regularly.

Anyway, this is a 3 post 14mm bottom fed atty, with dual coil options. I got one single and one dual, the only difference being that on the duals there are 2x 1mm airholes, and on the single its a 1x1.2mm? airhole (Dimensions are from my expertly trained visual inspection.)

The wire holes on these are quite small, but I still managed to build a dual coil with 28awg wire, any bigger or if you run twisted/ribbon you may need to drill them out. The deck has a nice shallow well which works well when squonking to drain excess liquid. The chamber is pretty much as reduced as it can get.

Flavour and vapor production here is awesome. It is as good as my Cyclones/Notanks/Graals if not better on a single coil 0.7ohm build. At duals clocking in at 0.5, this thing just puts out the goods.

At $35 a pop, these are very good value for the money. The only real con is that nickel brass post.

Pictures will follow in the next post.

I just received my RM3 single coil version today and I am quite pleased with it. I use twisted 28 gauge and it fits in perfect with no room to spare. I don't think an Agro coil (my favorite wrap) would for without modifying the post holes.

The flavor on the RM3 is quite good. I'm running it at .67ohm and the heat is moderate. I like the way the RM3 drains back down thru the post hole. It's a better design than the RM2 in my opinion. The drip tip that comes with it is nice as well. I actually put it on my Rm2 so I could use something with a little bit larger bore.

Quick update after a full day of use. I work outdoor all day so it may be subject to more "abuse" then your situation.

It holds juice very well. No leaking at all. On really hot days my RM2 would leak due to my VG based juice thinning out a little bit.
The consistency of the vape is pretty damn good. Always got a nice hit with plenty of vapor and flavor.
My only issue with it is the top cap is too loose and anytime I picked the REO up by the RM3, the cap would easily pop off. I was leary of putting it in my pocket thinking the cap may just fall off. The rubber gaskets that create the seal to hold the cap needs to be just a little bit bigger. That's really my only issue and definitely not a big one at that.

Yup, I have been very impressed with the single coil RM3, IMO, better than the RM2 in several ways, e.g. cleaning, building, etc. I have several Cyclones, and find it as good in flavor and vapor production. Not to mention the RM3 is much more reasonably priced. Though both are stainless steel, the quality and durability of the RM3 has to prove itself in time compared to the Regular BF Cyclone. :vapor:

Hey all, just wanted to post a quick update to my single coil RM3 review.
So I was really having an issue with the top cap just coming off with very minimal resistance. I decided to see what kind of o-rings I had and ended up putting (2) 1mm x 10mm rings on it that I had ordered from Rob last week. After 24 hours of using it with the new rings, the cap is fitted much more securely now. Looks like its a permanent fix unless the o-rings break down over time but so far so good.
Just thought I would add a quick update incase anyone else is having a similar issue with their RM3.

Thanks for this, It tightened mine right up. This and some dental floss under the drip tip O-ring and I'm good to go.

Just a thought for everybody, the Cherry Vapes cloud chaser drip tip might be the perfect thing for this. No o-rings it just presses on with a friction fit. They also have a new stainless steel one. It looks like the Mini Universal would be good too.

Thanks Raynman, just ordered one.
