The coil tha comes with the rba base is what I duplicate. Wicking wise, JOC 1.5 times as wide as the coil. Strip both layers off, fluff and lightly roll, not twist! Insert into coil and twist on first part of chimney. Cut to a smidge above and I mean just a touch! This is the important part, spread and fluff the ends of the wick with the first part of the base in place, with a micro screwdriver work the wick into the base a little at a time from the outside into the airflow. Don't pack it in, just lightly tuck it. Wet and fill and vape. You can also take a little piece of kanthal and clear a little space at the juice channels but I haven't had to do that.

if you are looking for larger juice channels have you considered this $9.04 EK V2 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (4.0ml) - glass + stainless steel / 21mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping I have 2 of them and a third on the way.I have tried them with high VG juices and they seem to work O.K. since most flavoring are PG base how do you avoid PG in your juice?

I think I'll try the original style EK for $5.. sure it's plastic, but hey, it's $5
And it is next to impossible to avoid PG in your juice unless you get specific flavorings made with VG. that is why most places don't sell %100 VG juice, but list it as "MAX VG".

I was gonna try the pancake wicking method.

OMG, first, silica, then steel mesh, hemp, cotton, organic cotton, rayon.....now pancakes... Geesh, I'm heading to the store to get some Aunt Jemima's pancakes to try this new wick. :) I hope it doesn't burn the coils.

Make sure you never buy the enriched bleached flour. The whole wheat wicks much better and has a cleaner taste.

Thanks for the tips, there is just so much out there making it hard to chose. I have seriously been thinking about going straight for a dripper rda such as the Omega or simular, at least I know for sure that will solve the wicking problem with high VG on Tanks, I have no idea which wattage I should be dripping on to get the best flavour etc, would a 40 watts device be enough?

My first issue was polar opposite to yours. I just couldn't find that hit, that I got with a cigarette. Like the first one in the morning. Thankfully I hadn't spent that much on my first setup, an MVP 20 with a full size nautilus tank, I probably shouldn't have bought online first. So I went and found a really good B&M got some great advice and a different setup and haven't looked back.
