Did you all charge your Evo when you first got it? Mine arrived today, wasn't really planning on using it much as my Dura has arrived. That's turned out to be faulty and my Evo was showing as fully charged when I plugged it in. Only got about 30 minutes use out of it though.

yeah they are normally charged up mate so its a bit strange you only got 30 minutes use. charge it up for a full 4 hours to be on the safe side and then try it. afterwards you can trust the green light to indicate a full charge if by the mains or a solid led on the battery if via a usb.

if still no good then contact john asap:-

Yeah it is. I think because it's a similar form factor to the 901 I'm instinctively taking the same kind of drags and unless you know about the cut off the two minutes is just long enough to think it's died.

1st impressions are very positive. I wasn't too happy with the cart and the primer is disgusting. Since dripping through that using igetcha's tip it's really improved things. Much lighter draw, nice vapour and my Janty Virginia is getting cooked very nicely. I bought this on a whim and was really expecting the Dura to be the star of the show tonight. This has been a pleasant surprise.

Just a thought on this one, we know the battery lasts a long time, but how long actually comes down to how often we use it, I'm a heavy vapourer (Is that a new word ! ) So obviously less than someone who isn't. What I would like to know is how many carts to a full charge, so tomorrow I'm going to try and keep count how many times I top up during one full battery.

Ok been doing my little test today and here's my result.
My battery lasted six and a half hours.
24 drops of liquid.
Topping up the smaller carts, 4 full carts.
That's using a large eye type dropper and quite thick liquid. I'm sure I would use more of the thinner stuff. Sat at the pc for 3 hours, so a lot of vaping done there.
I'm still not sure how many ml to a charge because I don't know how many drops there are in a bottle.

My 2 evos are still going strong, they produce the best flavours of all my other cigs, throat hit is better than a weaker 901 but not as good as a lucky pick super strong (the kind that have less draw) 901 atomiser. Battery life is still amazing, for such a small mini ... it beats the penstyle by about 2 hours!

I have ordered EVO too.

At home i am vaping by dripping direct in my 901 atomizer with direct USB cable and have no problems.

The problem is when i go outside the home. I have to take 2-3 loaded batteries in my pocket. Not really bad, but the main disturbing issue is that this batteries are lowing in performance after every puff. The problem would not be that disturbing if they had a consistent function.

The only reason that i have ordered the EVO is because of the good reviews that i read about his battery.

Lets see if EVO overcomes this problem.

Can't wait.

Good news.
After all this defect or malfunctioned batteries, this sounds too to good to be true!! :)
For me, it does not mater if they will be dead after a month. They can not last forever! The good thing about them is that they are cheap.

Just all this time stay consistent. Thats the point.

And it's good to read, from many users here, that they are.

I really like the taste of the menthol carts that come with the Evo, Anyone know if there's a UK supplier that does a menthol liquid with the same taste?

please send me all your menthol carts so i can taste them. i will then be able to tell you if there is a uk supplier who does a liquid that tastes like them.

lol

i got them when i first brought the original intellicig. (the one before the evo came out) and i remember them being pretty nice! not tried the evo ones but i imagine they taste the same. not sure of a supplier that sells similar juice but i think john once mentioned that they are currently testing some juice they plan to start selling. hopefully it will be the same taste menthol!

have you tried making your own? go to boots and get some pure menthol crystals from over the counter. put 10ml of glycerine into a microwaveable bowl and add a few crystals (you have to experiment a bit as it depends on the size of crystals). heat for about 20 - 30 seconds and let the crystals dissolve into the glycerine and give it a good mix. get some tobacco flavour juice and then add some of the menthol mix to it. again just experiment until you like the strength, taste etc.

make it as strong or as weak as you like..........just like a proper menthol ...!

It's arrived

It took less than 4 days since my PayPal order to arrive the package in my home (with a weekend between). Ordered Friday 13:00 and received Tuesday 10:00! That's a record. And that with only 3,8 Euros shipping costs. That's a record too. Thank you guys from Intellicig! :)

I live in Greece and the shortest delivery time until now was 6 days. For example for Holland's Janty (the more expensive shipping costs from all) i have received my order after 7 days and payed 19 Euros shipping costs + 4 Euros for PayPal fee. Sum 23 Euros!! Even some Chinese in the other side of the planet charges less than a half from this price for shipping costs! I would buy some liquids and maybe more things from Janty but not with this shipping costs.

The packed
The cig, the USB charger the spare battery and 4 cartridges, was all into a small cheap cartoon box, slight bigger than a 100 mm Marlboro pack and the box refers to medicine. But this don't bothers me so long the price stays low. :D All this was good enough protected into one air bubble padded mail envelope.

The cigarette is thinner than my 901 but with longer battery. I like EVO's design better. It seems to have shorter atomizer and longer cartridge than the 901.
The truth is that the differences in atomizer and cartridge are not that big as they looks in the first look. Why:
* The cartridge from EVO looks longer outside, but the half from the atomizer enters into the cartridge. So the cartridge (the container) is significantly shorter as it looks. It's about that big as the 901 container or slightly smaller.
* On the other hand, the atomizer in 901 looks much longer than the EVO's, but it's hollow and one part from the cartridge comes into the atomizer. So inside it's significantly shorter than it looks outside, but still bigger than the EVO's.

Two totally different build philosophies.
Ergonomic, i like more the 901's philosophy because the hollow atomizer is more dripping friendly. In EVO is hard to drip into the atomizer, the liquid leaks easily out, so it's not recommended for drippers.
But when i look at the design, EVO is more beautiful. The whole cigarette is about 1 cm shorter as the 901.

In the use now:
The cig produces very good vapor, sometimes slight better than a dripped 901 and for sure much better than a "cartridged" 901.

That's for first impression.
I will come back after a more intensive use.

> While i was writing this message (it took me a while, because English is not my native language) i was vapping the EVO with one from the included cartridges and now it tastes to me much much better than before a couple hours a go. :)
