Beans you were the first person to reply to me on ECF and offer your support. I will never forget that (or the name Beans!) That was about 5 months ago I think and I have not looked back. Christmas Eve is my 6 month mark with no cigarettes and I feel like a new man. Like you I smoked 1-1/2 2 packs a day for nearly 20 years and the condition of my lungs was starting to scare me. Not to mention how bad it was every morning trying to clear my throat. All that has pretty much already gone away. I'm loving it! Thank you for your support and sharing your experiences with all of us.

Very touching story Beans, I'm sorry that your grandmother passed like that but as others said, I'm sure she is very proud of you now. I have dealt with seeing loved ones suffer from smoking as well, and it is very hard.

These ecigs are a miracle, and I'm glad I found them and stuck with them, I feel ten times better than I did when I smoked 2 PAD. God bless everyone and I hope you all have happy Holidays.

That is one of the most honest stories to have put out there. I am truly amazed at how strong you really are. I know I've been lucky through the years most of my family including my husband quit. I was the loser that failed at ever attempt and finding this forum, the store I go to and the support of my husband I have been able to quit. I was also very young when I started smoking. I'm happy that everything you have been through has made you stronger. Congratz on your success and many more years of success. :D

Beans,

You're story hit me on so many levels my head is still spinning. I am so glad you were able to make the switch!

I to wittnessed my grandmother fade from smoking (strangely enough, my little sister used to call her Memaw. :) Her last words to my father were: "Boy...I really screwed up didn't I..." I've been scared to death of ending up muttering those same words to my kids.

It's success stories like yours that give me strength to keep off the leaf and stick with the vapor! Thank you for sharing!!
