I think I have made the same logical progression as most vapers. I started off the a little 450mah ego and a ce4 clearo and thought to myself "THIS IS ALL ANYONE NEEDS!". Then I got an evod tank, a protank1,2,3 and thought wow who needs more? Then I got a vamo and another array of protanks and figured welp this is it, the pinnacle of all vaping experiences. Before I knew it I was rocking a provari and kayfuns, taifuns and thought well ill be this is all anyone in their right mind could ever want. After a bit I was holding my ipv2 with a dual coil tugboat and im certain this is all anyone would ever need. Now for my problem........I still like to take my provari on the go and im finding my kayfuns and taifuns to be completely unsatisfying. The draw is tight and the vapor production is low. What is the current hotness in rebuild able tanks that I can stick a 1.5-2ohm microcoil in and get some airy draw and lots of vapor for use with my provari?

As far as tanks go, my fogger and orchid are quite airy... In fact, I'd say the airflow on the orchid rivals the tug... As for the kayfun, don't relinquish them to the corner just yet. I've found that once the airholes are drilled out they can still make a pretty good on the go tank.

With all that said, get a big dripper... You WON'T regret it... I certainly haven't... It's a dripper with awesome airflow... The difference? It has a tank built on top... When you want to drip you just push the drip tip down a couple times and it squirts some juice down on your coils... It's dripping without the bottle... The tank holds 3-5ml (depending on how you fill it) so it's not an all day adventure, but it'll certainly get you through a long car ride or whatever. In my opinion it's one of the best purchases I've made in a while!

Seems to me you just need to adjust your equipment.

Open up the Kayfuns, lighten up on the wicking, increase the VG a touch and push the Provari.
All my Kayfuns are 1.3-1.7ohm and kick nicely on my Mechs with chips or my eVics. I'm sure the Provari can keep up.

You could try out an Orchid v4 for a boost but stick to lower ohms(under 1.7 and down) on anything or you are shooting yourself in the foot.

Thanks for the suggestions, ive been hearing the big dripper mentioned quite a bit and im really intrigued by the lemo now.

As far as my kayfun builds. Ive got the screw completely removed from the bottom, I think I have the sweet spot for cotton (after a few tanks the cotton is still juice colored and no scorched) and I use a 1.7 - 2.4 ohm microcoil depending on if I use 28g or 30. I think ive just been spoiled by the open draw of the tuggy. However, under my coils there is still the little metal chimney if you will. Can that be completely removed also or is it integrated into the base?

I'm just gonna leave this
here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/
rebuildable-atomizer-systems/573083-erlkoenigin-
pictorial.html

I'm sure it was mentioned more than once, but I wasn't gonna read all 4000 or so posts to get to it.

Me likey, and would like to get one. How would a good old Yankee Doodle Dandy score one of these things, and better yet, get to a site I can read! Would like a gen, not a clone.....

Thanks. ;)

Really? I'd heard that about the clone, but not the authentics. I don't have one yet, but everyone in the thread I linked seems to think the airflow out of the erlkonigin is better.

Draw is about the same as a badly functioning Protank, if that's your thing.

A Kayfun is much better and easier to get replacement parts for as shipping from Austria is pricey.

I was persuaded by that thread to get one and will probably have to sell it on the classies for a loss.

Okay. Did find a place that sells them, and the price was in US dollars. Lots of them. $170 before shipping! Wow.

I may try a clone before going all in on the gennie.

This is the only US vendor I'm aware of for authentics: Erlkönigin Atomizer Made In Austria - The Konigin RTA Atty Is A Top Fill Tank but I think most people are either ordering direct from the manufacturer (The Erlkönigin | Die Erlkönigin ...click the little British flag in the top right of the page for english) or from intaste.de.
