Yes that's right, my kayfun lite has been leaking on me, But it only started happening as soon as I put the clear tank section on, it has been leaking through the mouthpiece when I fill it......? ...!

i think it may be the o ring that seals the top to the mouthpiece but it seems fine to me and is airtight?? tank doesn't looked cracked either.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I also find that it gets gurgely sometimes.....?

cheers

Are you filling it to the top?...I heard your not suppose..some air space etc...
btw..which Kayfun...because I have HCigar Kayfun and the only time it leaks is though air hole..that's because I refilled it...so some pressure is lost...but after a while it goes away..I'm using the clear tank it came with.

Using kayfun lite with full clear tank. Works like a champ but only when I refill it this happens.

never happened before for me..... Interesting, I do notice the threads on the clear tank are kind of funky, abit stiff to screw on

Are the o-rings on and seated correctly on the plastic section? It could be a vacuum issue due to the seal of the plastic piece (just thinking out loud since you haven't encountered this with the metal section in place).

It does sound very much like the o-ring at the chimney top could be the suspect, however.

If it's leaking into the mouth piece it's really only one thing it can be, chimney oring issue...inspect it closely for damage and make sure you wet it with eliquid before install the cap...

A Kayfun can flood and leak thru the drip tip as well, but you'd know there was an issue because you'd likely have major gurgling going on, so I vote for a top cap o-ring.

top o-ring is pretty small and easy to miss. i dropped mine into the sink drain while washing. good thing they come with spare. :)

they really are an amazing piece of kit. So many build options, they look good and can hold a days worth of juice if not more. You just need to get used to how it fills up and when to stop filling. Ive filled mine so many times through the bottom hole only to have juice pour outta the tip due to overfilling. Like the saying goes "practice makes perfect" but honestly whats perfect really lol.

Try to not fill it really high to the top, I found you need a little bit of air in there the hard way Lol. 3/4 full is the best thing I've found out, it already holds enough liquid as it is. Once you do that it will be fine, although I'd suggest checking the O-rings anyway just to be sure.
Agree 100% and easy to over fill, especially if using it in Stainless Version. Overfill will definitely cause leaking issues. 3/4 full is right!!

Do you use a 18g syringe to fill from the bottom hole?

nope i just use a juice bottle with reg tip and put on the hole then squeeze, I then let off to let air escape and relieve pressure and repeat. Ive gotten it down to where it doesnt leak after i fill the past 10 refills but its not a big issue tbh.

This post makes me nervous. I ordered a kfl clone the other day it should be here friday or so. I scared it may have been a waist of money.

By the way guys...Issue Fixed!

I found when i am screwing on the tank to the base section, it starts to get very tight closer to the bottom threads of the tank section(this is also the same when screwing on the top section) i just lubed the crap out of it and got those threads nice and smooth by screwing and unscrewing a few times (lots of screwing going on here!). End result tank screwed on completely at the top and a small gap at the bottom (did not want to force it) but now there is no more leaking and yes i definitely suggest to lube all the threads and the chimney o-ring, this makes life alot easier!
