my liquid tastes burn at 6v with new annty is this normal???

Are you using HV Atty's vaping at 6v if not this could be your problem here, many many atty's just cant handle the smaller volts,amps let us know

i cleaned all my threads and every contact point with alchol be reading the fourms now its vapin like a champ ..... thanks everyone again now im at 6v and its the best.... but i seem to be melting my 901 plastic tip mouth pieces ... where can i get metal ones.... ??????????

It'll only melt the ends, if you cut them off where they melt you shouldn't have a problem (worked with my 510s).

I don't even have my SB yet, and I did this with my 510s too. Works great and no more nasty taste on a long drag.

Plus, it is no longer relevant which direction you load the cart onto the atty. You can twist it all you want because it doesn't make contact with the bridge. Course, I only drip. Actually filling the cart and doing this I'm not too sure about.

try HV attys. you have to keep the atty at 6v very wet to not taste burnt.

I doubt it, I think the cart filler needs to be touching the atty bridge for it to wick the fluid down. For 6v devices it gets too hot... so you only drip and cut the cart to avoid it melting, if it had filler I'd imagine it'd burn the filler when you get low on juice.

get a 510 to 901 adapter from alt smoke and some black cartomizers. fill it up with like 20 drops of your fav eliquid and you wont go back to fussing with the attys anymore. i was iffy on them at first but seriously no more mess. great flavor and great th! im using a sb at 6volts w/24mg juice! i gave up on the 510 attys everything tastes like .... now lol i havent picked up my 510 since i got it. i havent had a carto die on me yet! i kill 510 attys like no tomorrow! so its accually cheaper for me too

Chad, Rob need help again ...........iwas vaping a 6v Fiday night loving it for about maybe 3 to for hours ......Then my friend says can i see the batts i showed him and putit back to get added some liquid about 4 drops and it didnt work and more so i thought the batts went dead so i got another pair out of my car..... and it didnt even vape good had a little vape for like two drags and then it stop working i blew an other annty.....This annty was wet. i always keep it wet... do i threw another batt in 3.7 to see if it worked that way and nothing........... so after that i busted out an other new annty and just vaped a 3.7 the rest of the friday night and saturday night. now Sunday night is here charge my 6v batts thru them in with that new annty got one good hit and the secound hit dead annty again.... Whats going on im blowing up annty left and right when i 6v...... why... i heard there are bad 901 adapters out there u think i have on ???????????.... or do u think somthings shortin out .............but I experence 6v vaping on my fav liquid for about 3 hours and it is truly the best..... mega vapor and throat hit ..... u guys need to help me.... somthing wrong and i did everything right... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE..

okay been reading thru the threads on adapter.... i took my 901 adapter apart and both the washers are in the right position at the ends of each post.....so its not a adapter problem and it vapes good at 3.7...... but 6v i kill atomizers dont know why i keep them wet too... 3 atomizer dead.... got 3 hours out of one atomizer vaped like a smoke stack with no burn taste... but when i took it apart to show a friend the batterys and put it back together and tryed to take a drag the atomizer died.... now what should i do .... i posted this earlier..... i have 3 differnt sets of rcr123a 3.0v tryed them all.... dont what to affend anyone just trying to find the problem.....

Well guys ive been doing some heavy thread reading tonight and this is like my 4 post in the late hours of the night And i finally figured out the 901 atomizers blow up the easiest at high voltage vaping....... looks like im going to have to spend some major dough and experimenting with differnet atomizer so im going to order some nhalers.com hv atomizers by the pound.... and just go from there....Ill figure this out one day....... Im not giving up.

okay everyone for the last 3 days ive been vaping at 3.7 and this true slb 901 annty is kicking out vapor very good..And i just order some 510s and a HV 510s and HV 901s and im going to go from there.... never vaped with a 510 annty..... but ill tell u this again i love the silver bullet best mod ever and i experianced 3 hours of 6v vaping and it blew my mind, mega vapor and perfect throat hit..... then my annty poped. im not giving up... plus im a newbie at this 6v thing as you can tell.... ill keep u updated, my order should be here tommorrow peace........

Dam well there goes that true slb 901 atty at 6v.. i could'nt handel it i'v been staring at my 3.0 batts for 3 days .... i think its the place where i get my attys i will not say, but ill never buy there again.... MY true slb 901's just dont hold up.... i think thats my fourth atty blown now i lost count dont get me wrong one lasted 3 hours, the first one i blew was my fault i think.,.. Rookie move ..... But this other 901 i have from a different manufacture is holding up its been 2 hours and its vaping like a Champ im choking off every hit and i have to turn on the fan to much vaper... I Finally figured it out!!!!!! BAD ATTY'S ...........
