I had a similar problem when I started vaping, a very pointed pain at the top of my chest/lungs that would stay with me for the first 20 mins of a run. Different effect than I had from analogs, very strange. Also got a bit of wheezing occasionally.

It's something to do with how I vape, still haven't figured it out 100%. I'm realising I take long draws, maybe 7/8 seconds, and go mouth to lung. I go for 50/50 juices now and I was using basic clearos then and haven't touched one in 4 months. Cartos only, but I'm looking at rdas/attys now after some good tries. Been training hard since then and I'm in the best shape I can remember while vaping like a train :)

OP: Gratz on dropping the tobacco and starting the vaping. I smoked for ~38 yrs and decided to get in shape by running. After a couple months on a run/walk program I hit a wall and couldn't keep up with the program. I quit smoking and started vaping Aug 21st 2013 and within a week I could run twice as long as the week before. I never experienced the burning in the chest until I got my legs in better condition and my lungs couldn't keep up with my training. I only smoked < 1 PAD, but after 38 yrs I'm sure that it will take more than a year before my lungs are even close to normal.

After reading the posts here I realized something, we don't HAVE to inhale for the nic/taste. A simple mouth hit will deliver the nic/taste well enough. I think I'm going to refrain from inhaling for a bit and see if it makes a difference. And since I mix my own juice now, I can try different PG/VG mixes to see if I can feel a difference.

cheers! :toast:
