MIL passed away Thursday 7/21 at 11:29pm. It's kinda ironic, I convinced her to try eCigs, and she had quit in October, totally off nicotine a few months ago. She had been a 45+ year smoker, at one point at 5 PAD. She was admitted to the hospital for mini-strokes on Sunday 7/17. They soon realized her Oxygen levels were too low and her CO2 levels were too high. Nothing helped. I made it down with the kids and my niece on Thursday afternoon. She was surrounded by friends and family who loved her when she died, and was on morphine for the pain. She was 60. The funeral was Monday...and the days in between have been a blur. She was like a mother to me, more so than my own.

Unfortunately, I've smoked..and they tasted good! SIL is still smoking and I ended up bumming 3 off of her. I'm still craving them too. *sigh* I was able to diagnose the problem with the eGo she got from MIL, both attys are toast. So I'm going to tell her where to get 510 attys, but at least we know the problem.

I want to express my condolences to you and your family.
Not to steal your thunder, but my HUBZ Granny died on the 18th.
And there is some irony in her story as well, she never smoked, but her husband did and he died several years ago from lung cancer. All her children smoke, but she never did.
she died with emphazema. poor lady suffered so much, it was such a blessing when she did go. She was so ready to join her husband, she called his name, took a deep breath or at least as deep as she could, smiled , and passed. it was actually beautiful and peaceful.
GOD BLESS

My condolences as well, it is very hard when it happens so suddenly. My father died earlier this year and I too bummed 5 cigs, one right after the other one night while I was just letting all the stress out. The nice thing about vaping is that you can just hop back on the wagon with very little pain. What surprised me is that after I was done letting go and bumming cigs I was craving a nice soothing vape.
