It's an object guys
a well built, great object indeed
but alas, these things are mass produced, it's not like you are handling the Mona Lisa
btw, mine has 2 weeks only
again, no mod has passed through my hands without actually making it a mod
That's interesting. I'm miles away from ever taking up modding a REO, but I certainly like seeing other people experiment with it. It's always interesting to see the results. Then again, that amount of watts, damn. That's crazy.
The good thing about the REO, you get a perfect unit. The rest is up to your imagination, but perfection has already been achieved. And they dare say there's no such thing as perfection. I laugh at them, muahahahahah-- *cough *cough
Mm well I did think at some point of getting either the VV Grand or the skeleton of the VV Grand to mod it with the DNA20D chip. But I don't see the need for it (and honestly I can't pull something like that off with my current skills at allMy perfect REO would be a DNA20D powered one with 18650 battery
I love the REO, truly, but I want a DNA20D powered device made out of metal (reason I didn't get a bogger box)
It's okay guys...this isn't the first time a Reo has been modded.
Do you all remember the 10 ml grand with other modifications, and the mini bored out to accept 18490 with wood skin appliqued...or the no push feed thing? I even have an original mini that has been bored out to accept an 18490. Wayne has a mini 2.0 that he converted to a 2.1. No need to be sad...he is clearly experimenting...which, as pointed out earlier, is how the Reo came to be in the first place. He has been warned about and understands the risk in what he is doing.
I likes me my spring. Mod seems to run just fine, and the spring keeps my shorts dry (BVDs, that is).
Your killing meI was gonna take out the spring . . .. but I couldn't find it in the clouds.

here is mine, 12 wraps of kanthal 26 on 1/16" @ .8 ohms
battery gives 4 volts out of charger on this one
I'm redoing it though I prefer a 2mm mini coil, 8 wraps of K26, I feel it hotter & 'moister' (if that's a word)
Vapor is pushed down by big roof fan, forgot that
