I have been using the cisco 901 2.0 ohm atty for awhile now on 3.7 mods and ego type batteries.
I just want to say it is a fantastic vape. I vape primarily high or 100% VG juices so vapor production normally isn't an issue on any atty but this thing just makes an amazing amount of thick flavorful vapor.

It has replaced the cisco 1.5 306 as my favorite atty due to its ability to really deliver on flavor. The juices I have put on it have never tasted better on any other atty, and certainly never on an atty putting out this much vapor. You do loose TH compared to a 306 and it is not as hot but it is still a nice warmer vape. I believe it is a bit less juice hungry than the 1.5 306 as well.

If you like your flavors to be complex and noticeable, your vapor thick and warmer than a standard 510 you can't go wrong with this atty. It performs remarkably well with the vaperite, BWB and alien visions juices I have ran through it.

Be warned it will leak if overfilled but not as bad as some 901's I have used in the past.
I got it from Avid Vaper : Electronic Cigarettes, E-Liquid and Accessories
I used an adapter from goodprophets to run it on a volcano inferno or my box mod, it of course fits naturally on my GGTB which is 901 native.

Overall this is a delight to drip on and I highly recommend it.

The picture at the top is a 1.5 ohm but they look exactly the same

Well Liv2Ski,
There is certainly nothing wrong with having both. :2cool:

I found the 306 while delivering great flavor and even better warmth and TH, was muting some of the complexity of some juices. Banana Fosters from vaperite being a good example, the 901 really brings it back to life while still delivering thick massive vapor clouds.

They are both good attys doesn't hurt to have one of each to see which one certain juices perform best on.

haha, I point the hole towards the sky...and then practice responsible, sensible, prudent dripping....

truly it just takes some time and you get a feel for how your juices will perform and what will cause it to leak, how many drops and such...I have noticed taking off the atty causes leakage. I have gotten the amount of leakage down considerably from when I started...but I have used a SR 901 before so I knew about all that crazy mess before I got it.

Month update: same atty still going strong...not bad for a semi LR atty.

I just received two of the newer, 1.8 ohm 901s in the mail today. I must say, so far I am quite disappointed. The draw is not good at all. With a drip shield, it's even worse. I noticed an abundance of wick material sticking out in all directions from the bridge, much more than I've seen in any other atty. Vapor production is less than optimal, and it's been spitting my juice back into my mouth. Bleh. I hope I can blame these issues on a lengthy break in period, but so far, I'm less than satisfied.

Hmm I was seriously considering purchasing some of the 1.8's....I still may as they...on paper anyway...represent a nice point between 1.5 and 2.0.

I can't say the 2.0 really had any more wicking material than a SR 901 from another vendor...or even more than a normal atty.
I do not use a drip shield but without it the 2.0 is a nice easy draw. I also don't recall a "lengthy" break in period maybe 15-30 minutes of steady vaping...even that wasn't as bad as what you describe though... I hope what your describing is a fluke.

You have me wondering about using them in an AVS or AFS, I do love the 901s for dripping but I kept only getting 5-7 days (which isn't bad) out of the ones SLBs, I switched to the Cisco 306s and they last forever..........hmmmm.........nice review!!!:thumb:

Have you tried the 1.5 that you had the picture of?:?:

At 1.5 I prefer the 306 to the 901 or 510.
though I am tempted to try volcano's new l88r 1.5 atty...
