I got some ribbon wire last night and was tinkering with different coils and made one i really enjoy. Its probably been done before but i thought i would share. I took two foot long strands of A1 .5*.1mm kanthal ribbon and one foot long stand of 28g kanthal. Put it in my drill and twisted it went slow not to kink it up. I did 8 wraps on one of my dropper bottle needles and it came out to .53 ohms. I ussaly
prefer dual coils but this thing is producing allot of vapor and great taste. just thought i would share it.

Same the only non twisted coil i use now is the dual super nano coil.

How do you guys wick those coils (cotton cloud under the coil) I haven't had much luck with those. When I've tried to make those I usually get a burned taste..
I went with the cotton cloud under but that's cause i dint have space to thread cotton through it.

I just did a triple twisted 32g coil last night, trying to make a dragon nano. The resulting cable has an OD bigger than 28g and I guess around 26g. 12 wraps with a 1.15mm ID read 1.0ohm on the VAMO5, and it does take a few second to glow.

I messed with the wick all morning until I finally got it just right. Wicked it like Rip Tripper does in his video, and that didn't work well at all. Ended up scraping all the wick off to the outer end of the coil (the covered up end) and that did the trick. Now it's more like a cotton bed with slight overwrap.

Now I'm waiting on the Sonys to arrive so I can try out a dual coil.
