My new mini

Hey....does anyone else have a problem with the door on the mini not staying in place? My starts to slide off everytime I move my hand in the slightest. It seems like it needs another magnet at the bottom of the door. The door also rattles. I have a Woodsvil and am much happier with the door on it.

Rob suggest putting a band of electical tape around the battery. It will keep the door more stable. May I suggest you post on the REO thread at: Reos Mods Lots of helpful people there that would be glad to give you suggestions.

+1 on the tape or a ribbon loop around the battery - it puts a little friction on the door, and makes the battery easy to remove.

You know, now I feel like a fool. I did that with my Reo Woodsvil but not the mini. thanks for the reminder. Sometimes I just need a kick in the pants to get my brain working. Thanks for your help.

Someone I know just suggested a mini rubber band wrapped around the juice bottle does the trick too. I'll try that first and then the tape. Won't hurt.
