My official letter to the FDA

I've now officially crossed over from user of E-Cigarettes to activist. I've just sent a letter to the FDA, as well as members of the Senate HELP Committee, so I am now officially a crusader for Vapor's rights. This spawned after seeing some misinformation and one-sided reporting on the Today Show, to which I responded to Today and NBC via email, and led me here. I feel very strongly about this device, and like most of you, I do not like the direction that those with authority are taking in regards to the E-Cigarette. For the first time in my life, however, I am now going to stand up and voice my concerns on something I strongly believe in, and it starts here.

It's rather lengthy, so I will simply link to it in my blog, and feel free to give me any feedback if you decide to read it.

Thanks, everyone, for the positive feedback. There are many points of view on the e-cigarette and how we should go about ensuring that we have access to it for the foreseeable future, but I truly believe the most powerful point of view is the personal one.

Seen through my eyes, this device is no more evil than a cute little puppy dog. Seen through the eyes of an organization like ASH, and that same device is now a rabid pitbull, and he's eating your children. So I think it's vital that all of us get our own personal message to Congress and to the FDA.
