I ordered Monday morning and just got the email after I called the 800#. My first order was shipped out the same day I ordered, and I received it 2 days later. No, this isn't normal, but Jacob said they had a lot over the weekend and were getting caught up. My previous experience, and the Vast majority of the reviews I've read about them, lead me to believe this week's experiences are an exception.

Gotta say that I am a bit disappointed as well, since I just came back from my mailbox with no merchandise in hand.

I ordered Thurs nite 3/10, and got an email on Fri, 3/11, saying it was dispatched. It is now Wednesday, 3/16, and still not received. I sure hope they do send Priority Mail, and not the slow boat (parcel post)!

Perhaps we have referred too many customers and LF cannot keep up???

Hoping for tomorrow,
Kona

Kona,

I so hope your wrong about the last.

As for your pain, I understand (do i ever?!). My first order was Priority. I think that may be all of their shipping. Check on the website about your order and their shipping policy to verify.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I'm tracking a package from another vendor and REALLY want it to make it tomorrow.

Let's take a deep vape and relax.

Kona - ordered Thurs, Shipped Friday - was there a tracking number? All of mine have shipped priority so far (yeah, all 14 of them) and had a tracking number. I believe I saw a dollar-determination at one point, that would determine shipping method. Couldn't tell you the post... But even some juices (gasp, from "another unnamed vendor") that I don't get a tracking number from and shipped first class - still got here in about the same amount of time.

Not sure what may be different having to leave the 'mainland', but surely they won't take too long!

Will keep my fingers crossed that it arrives for you tomorrow!

Thanks ByStander and Princessa. Really didn't want to sound like a whiner, but it generally only takes two days Priority Mail to Hawaii (sometimes three to go the other way, for some unknown reason). I've got plenty of everything to carry me through, so really not a biggie...

And Princessa, I also want to say "nice job" on your brochure. Very nice!

This is definitely rare, but I normally give a vendor a week (7 days) from the time that I order, just so most of the time I will be happy. It still amazes me that most companies including Liberty flights get packages out within 2 business days (most of the time)

There are also a couple of vendors that always take longer, and even up to a week just to ship.

Thanks! I had some great proof-readers here ;) Goal was really to put in a nice, easy format to hand to friends/family - and just figured I'd share beyond those here in my face ;) Sure was better than the first sharing of info - scribbling a bunch of urls and names on a 3x5 pc of paper.

Hmmm. Thurs 3/17, and still no receipt of 1st order. I also have a second order that was also supposedly dispatched a couple of days ago. Strange, when I check tracking info, neither one has an expected delivery date. Yet an order from Tennessee placed Monday night, shipped Tues, and tracking has an expected delivery date of tomorrow. Go figure. Methinks that when a tracking number is applied at LF, it is done electronically whether or not the package has actually been picked up at all...

Most likely will arrive tomorrow, but this will be the first time I have had to wait 7 days for something to come from a vendor. Thought the West Coast would be the way to go for getting to the islands a bit quicker, but apparently not so...

Now I'll go cut some cheese to go with my whine... :~))

Kona, if you got a shipment notification on Friday then the problem is with USPS. We ship priority if it is over $15 I think. To be honest, First Class has proven just the same in terms of delivery, I think priority only seems to matter during crazy time, it is guaranteed under 3 days whereas first class is 5 days. In truth, they take the same amount of time 99% of the time.

A little update:

I finally got my first order on on Sat 3/19. Abe, I believe you are right in that it was a problem with USPS. Somehow it got transferred very slowly and even arrived quite dented up (but all was fine inside).

Second order came much quicker, arriving today, shaving a full two days off the delivery time. Next order should be even quicker, now that we are on a roll!

Thanks for the professional service and for making customer satisfaction your number one priority...

Quick question: Do people still initially charge their Riva batteries for the recommended 8 hours, or just go ahead and give them a standard 2-3 hour charge? I have a couple 750 SE's and a couple 1100's charging right now, and would love to try them out tonight...

Thanks again to the fine folks at LF and all of the helpful people in this Forum...

Aloha,
Kona
