So my husband, who calls himself a smoker but really could go days in between, likes my Ego.
I let him try it last night. He has almost a full pack of analogs left and let me know that after they are gone ( which will probably be like a week LOL) that he is going to be taking over one of my Egos.
While I am excited about sharing this experience with him, I cant help but feel a little freaked out that I am only going to have the one Ego. He bought me the kit so I don't have a leg to stand on.
I tried to tell him that by the time we get an extra battery each and we get him stocked up on atomizers, carts etc that we may as well buy another kit. He doesnt fully get the importance of not taking a chance of the battery going on one of them.
It is not like we can go to the store and buy another one. With me having two, I am not using both of them all the time and even I feel as if I should have an extra battery.
Am I being unreasonable in feeling greedy with my Egos? I like having one for my menthol and the other for my vanilla and other flavors. Plus I just got the atomizer nice and broken in on my menthol one and am working on getting it primed on the other one.
Oh and one is black and the other is platinum and I think they are both beautiful. How will I choose?? LOL

Just a silly vent. I know you all will understand

No, I don't think you're being greedy. I only have me to worry about, and I would never have fewer than 3 batteries, and fewer than 5 atties (if I were only using atty systems, but I mostly use cartos).

These things are not bullet-proof. Random equipment failures happen to all of us eventually - some more than others. He needs to understand that. If your only battery goes down, or you run out of charge in the middle of the day, then you're screwed.

Having only one battery? I don't think you're unreasonable to be worried about that.

I'd recommend he just get a 510 kit from CigNot - $35 for the No Box kit.

With how little he smokes, those two batteries should last him all day.

Wow! If I told my wife that, she'd put my nads in a blender! But seriously, obviously you two would do well to buy at least one other battery. Maybe a high mha (900 or 1000mah). You really don't need a whole set, just a battery or two. Search around in the SUPPLIERS section for the lowest price (plus shipping) and have at it. As usual, just my:2c:.

I just broke down the cost for him. The set we got from cignot was $69.00 for two complete egos. By the time we get batteries ( a backup for each of us) and extra attys for him ( I already have like 4 spare ones on the way) plus carts, juice and another charger, we are looking at roughly the same price.
Thanks for co-signing my rant:)

Be sure to check the coupon code page . You can save a bit. If you look at MistressNomads sticky there is a link to one or two.

Glad I had the Blu to give to hubby! I am not crazy about his drive-by vapes on my 510! He seems to inhale way too hard and I'm very protective of my babies and their battery life. I thought it was just me but I see that other hubby's think cheaper =better. HA Glad you are going for his own kit. I take my extra battery with me everywhere, you never know when I'll come home and catch him manhandling my poor battery. JK but I know how you feel.

my wife is a non-smoker and when I mentioned e-cigs a few weeks ago she started investigating them on her own. She ended up requesting a short automatic Vaporking battery and a couple flavors of zero strength cartos. She's been able to cut down on mid day and evening 'sweet' urges.
