My Own Personal Hell

Of course I'm this lucky... I finally place a nice big order for a bunch of new juices and cartos I've never tried, and after waiting all week it finally gets here, and on a saturday no less, when I can actually spend a little time trying them out! It all sounded too good to be true!

So its only fitting that I should wake up this morning with a massive head cold and stuffy nose. I can't smell or taste any of my new juices!!! Coffee, caramel, choco caramel peanut, waffle, turtle, and of course the vg version of my beloved wowboy. They all smell and taste like DayQuil! ARGGGGGG!

This has to be what hell is like!

Any tips for a sicky to help get some more flavor? I know its a long shot (even my new drip tip isn't helping), but maybe, just maybe, someone knows a trick to get a little extra flavor out of my cartos.

Sorry, Bender, but a stuffy nose will make everything bland and tasteless Is your tongue coated, too? Throat scratchy? vape something unimportant to you until nature cures you You NEED your nose to taste vaping

That stinks.I used to vape a menthol carto when I was stuffy.It seems to help a bit.

Weird, i have the exact same situation. ii thought it was allergies but claritin D isn't quite working... my head is not ready t explode, but my nose will not stop dripping.

Oh no, that stinks! Do you have any nose spray? Don't forget to drink lots of liquid, and yes, if you have some menthol or peppermint juice, that should help too!

Ugh Sickos! Try a strong menthol like Nuport if you have it....other than that when I had my cold I couldn't taste a thing!

One trick that helps me out when I am totally stuffed up is to make up a very strong saline solution, just salt and water, and put it into a spray bottle and use it like nose spray. I originally used to pulverize salt into a powder and snort that, but that burned way too much.
Anyway, I find that the saline will cause your sinuses to start to drain and very soon, it will relieve the pressure, and perhaps you may get your sense of taste and smell back in short order.

You guys are all brilliant! I cant believe I didn't think of it myself! I still have 3 bottles of wowboy peppermint. I didn't love it as my all day vape, but just filled up a new carto (with a little vg wowboy for extra vapor) and its awesome! I can really taste the peppermint and its totally hitting the spot right now! Thanks so much everyone

Sudafed if you have your ID. Also nasal spray kills taste buds. Makes food tasteless anyways.

I sure hope you feel better soon! I have noticed that the few colds and flus I have had in the last two years were not half as bad as in the old smoking days.
