My patina nemesis

Hey guys I did a patina on my copper nemesis and after I cleaned all the parts but now my button doesn't fire every time and it doesn't hit as hard any reason why

Patina is a corrosion and lessens conductivity. The inside of the copper is fine, but the outside now has a protective layer. You need to sand clean the the edges of the tube that make electrical contact, and just leave the patina on the exterior that you see.

Mine works great

I put Vaseline on the threads before patina and cleaned with wire brush and steel wool. I also left the tubes together and didn't patina the top cap or button, just the tube and air flow ring.
