So I finally broke down and bought one - an Innovape Patriot (V1.2) rda from our local vape shop - and comparing it to the Trident V2 (See my post on it), the Patriot beats that thing, hands down in my humble, professional, and honest opinion! I find the build quality on the Patriot to be pretty good (given its humble price point) as well as the ease of coil construction. The screws (although Phillips) are pretty solid, make good connections, and granted - I haven't had the issue YET - may need adjusting from time to time - secure my wires without breaking them, chipping them, twisting them, etc. Not to mention the posts have pretty good hole drilled through them. The airflow is a bit on the tight side (compared to other drippers) but again, nothing to be too concerned with. If you build good quality coil(s) and you like warm to hot vapes, the Patriot doesn't disappoint. I'm currently running a .20 Ohm 'Parallel Coil' macro style coil setup in my Patriot now, and let me tell you, she's a juice guzzler, but man does she produce the vapor. I am extremely content with this thing. Not to mention - MADE IN THE USA - same with the V3 Flip?!?! Talk about a lovely match! Oh well, may we bow our heads in silence while I bury my Trident V2... Kidding! I'm kind of glad I did a bit of research on the Patriot before I bought it - as my Trident was killing me - testing my patience with it's nonsense. Not only was it a pain to build on, but when I received a device that I spent quite a few peso's on, I don't want there to be a cracked O-Ring or the screws to be shoddy and cheaply made. Well, here's to the future!
