.....yeah.....this thread went South for the winter.... Again, it was not to start an argument on which device was "close" to what I dreamed of, it was just to share what my dream was and to see if anyone had interest in a similar device and to see if anyone had any other ideas to plug into it.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Hey Big, I am sorry my comment took your post on a ride.... I simply was making a comment that the Darwin was very much off base as to what you were looking for and I guess Hificat took it a little personal.... If he would have taken the time to actually read the threads he would've seen "I never suggested any devices to you at all" and that was because "I knew there was nothing out that fit all your criteria" and therefore was worthless to mention any APV to you at all.... Again I am sorry to you that my comment caused a stir.... I hope some day you find someone, (or do it yourself), to build your dream APV.....

Thanks muzichead, I appreciate your kind post. I understand that you were simply trying to bring the thread back to its meant purpose and appreciate that you saw it for what it was.

I do also understand why others chimed in to give suggestions to what is close to my dream mod, afterall there are many newbies out there that can benefit from this information and are looking for a new mod to fit their bill.

I know that I am still, in a way, a newb with only 6 weeks of vaping experience. But I am in no way uneducated on ecigs. I have somewhat of an obsessive personality and will research a subject to its death. 6 weeks of constant ECF and Googling every moment that I had to spare (plus some;)), plus personal experimentation, I feel that I can pretty safely answer most questions about ecigs that are thrown at me. Look at my posts here on ECF, I have almost 500 since middle of April:D

Anyways, I trust that everyone here can play nice. We are all here, afterall, for the same common cause.

:vapor::vapor:So let's all vape on and have fun while doing it:vapor::vapor:

That is also how I attack new interests. I've been vaping for about 7 months and am the same way. I read and post here, listen to 2 different ecig podcasts, read tons and tons of reviews, and spend many hours per week checking out supplier websites. There are 2 awesome vaping groups both about 3 hours drive from me, and I plan on making it to a meetup of both within the next few months, because I'm planning on starting a local vaping group in my area. Now I've bought an Altoids tin mod from smartvapes.com, and was so inspired by it that I am planning on making some of my own to see if I can top it (personal use not sale). I haven't purchased my soldering station yet, but am already have 3 different regulators to try, including a DNA chip. And the last thing I soldered was a guitar cable probably in 1985.

If your vaping arc follows mine, you'll be building your dream mod in no time.

You might be right, although I have a big obstacle to get by and that is.....my wife:p

Good luck on your mod building and keep us in the loop on how it goes!

Well if you have kids you can do what I do, pay them to intercept shipments so the package Gestapo does not see them! They get home from school and if Daddy has boxes in the mail they put them on the bar in the man cave. They are up to 75% interception rate!

also the guy that owns sweetvapes has been known to make custom mods based on user requests. i dont see why he (or some other mod maker) woudnt be able to make one to your specs.
